***MUST READ***We booked this Echor property seeing their reviews (which are definitely PAID) for our 1st anniversary from 25-29th Feb with 1 night in Luxury & 3 nights in Jacuzzi room (most expensive room). It was the worst nightmare of our lives to select them. We reached the hotel around 12 PM on the 25th from Delhi, traveling the whole night. And same was informed to their staff Deepak (2118) but no early check-in was provided. Instead, the allotted room was not even checked/ cleaned properly, and a filthy/ dirty bed cover & quilt with hair strands were provided in the Luxury Category room. Which my wife unfortunately used as was too tired. Later when I saw the same, I immediately called them to change, to our utter surprise the housekeeping guy told us it was the 5th time he was changing the same since morning. We did not give it much thought and took it as normal. The worst part started in the evening when around 4 PM on the 25th, my wife started having small blisters/ rashes around her arms. We took it as a normal allergy that might stop in some time, but till night it was all around her body with unbearable pain. We had no choice but to come back to Delhi the next very day "Anniversary Day", we booked a private taxi from the hotel only and left at 8.50 AM and reached Delhi at 11.30 PM on 26th Feb with the worst journey of our lives. My question is when they knew in advance about our plans, why the Luxury room was not cleaned properly? And did they know the earlier guest had some medical/ hygiene issues that the cover was changed so many times, which they simply ignored at our checkout time? Neither their manager Ritesh (1119) replied on same since yesterday. It's not about money, it's risking someone's life. Proper hygiene of rooms are must for every hotel, and stances like changing linen for like 5 times itself seem fishy. Later we asked them to create stay vouchers for the money we paid them, that we can use later. They denied that too. DO NOT GO AS PER REVIES ON GOOGLE, BOOKING, MAKEMYTRIP. They are far different in terms of what is portrayed. Thanks, Echor for ruining our first anniversary, kudos for providing such a facility in your luxury category rooms.
