Estuary Sarovar Premiere Poovar Island

Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel is spread across a large area and is surrounded by a freshwater lake. To reach the beach, which is across the lake, you need to take a boat ride. The beach area is quite deep, making the water inaccessible due to the sea’s depth. The taste of the food at the hotel was very good. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, although the breakfast could have had more variety. Unfortunately, the chairs in the restaurant were very dirty and spotted with bird droppings. We were upgraded from a garden view room to a sea view room for a small fee. The upgraded room had a great view of the swimming pool, lake, and sea. I think the upgrade was worthwhile. The room was large and well-furnished, with complimentary snacks and drinks. The hotel service could definitely improve. Our request for towels and water in the evening was completely ignored. We also requested room cleaning when we went out the next day, but it was not attended to. We had to get the room cleaned after we returned in the evening. Additionally, the in-room dining service was slow. We used the swimming pool as well; the pool water did not feel neutral and it made the mouth and teeth sour. We wanted to check out early and received help with our luggage at 6 in the morning. However, the checkout process was slow, and the clerk at the desk seemed half asleep. There are two approach roads to the hotel. The shorter one is very narrow and steep, which made me uncomfortable driving my car there. However, it would be fine for smaller cars. The other approach road is slightly longer but wider and easier to drive through.

Very good ambiance and the Onam celebration was certainly the highlight. The rooms are excellent with well kept bathrooms. Dinner was not as good as expected but breakfast covered that up. Swimming pools and well kept and various outdoor and indoor games are available including cycling. Overall a very incredible experience.

The hospitality and service from the staff at Estuary Sarovar Premiere-Kerala Poovar island was amazing. Especially,the morning bliss with the live music at Ripples restaurant something which everyone should once experience. The rooms were good and comfortable,but the view was simply breathtaking. Choose Estuary view room for limitless views of the Arabian Sea.

The rooms as well as the property was well maintained, the staff at the front desk were very helpful and we had a smooth check-in. The support staff at all areas were suppotive and ensured that we were comfortable. The property offers many activities and arrange out door activities such as boat rides and beach visits. We had a pleasent stay.

We got the rooms nearer to the beach side. The weather was too good - it was raining and drizzling the whole time. Staff was nice and courteous. Food was fairly decent for lunch and dinner we ordered Chinese noodles and baby corn, Peas pulao , Cheese pasta. Breakfast had a nice spread - Puttu appam idly dosa omlettes chole bature to my surprise. Boating costs 1800 for 1 hour and I thought that was on a higher side. The backwaters aren't as exotic as I thought to be, like one surrounding Alupuzzha or kumarakom. Poovar backwaters are little overrated I would say. Children play area should be renovated. They have gone rusty, and the trampoline isn't in working condition.

Food and service was amazing and any requests we had were taken into consideration immediately. Had a wonderful experience with family. The room we got had a beach and pool view. It was kept clean and house keeping ensured to clean the room regularly. Sudha from housekeeping cleaned the room for us. She was very friendly. Vishnu from housekeeping also made sure our stay was good and always asked if we had a good time.
