Sheraton Kuching Hotel

Recommend this hotel, clean, convenient, and have a good view, my grandma likes it a lot. Will plan our holiday to stay again.

Strategic location, had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was not bad. Rooftop pool and gym have wonderful view.

Will surely come back again for a day or two stay at Sheraton. Everything there was tip top. Services was excellent, room etc. Everything u need is all there. Will surely recommend to my friends and family.

How was Sheraton Hotel Kuching and if that’s the question, it would be… CONS: 1. Bedsheet Stains: This was a big disappointment. Finding stains on the bedsheets really diminished the comfort and luxury I expected from a Sheraton. 2. Messy Room: Although the room appeared tidy at first glance, it lacked the meticulous attention to detail you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. It simply wasn’t up to Sheraton’s standard. 3. Incomplete Room Amenities: Certain essentials like body wash were missing, which was inconvenient and something I wouldn’t expect to encounter at a hotel of this caliber. 4. Long Response Time from Guest Services: There was a frustrating delay in getting a response from guest services. Waiting for a long time to have a simple query answered negatively impacted the overall experience. 5. Room and Main Entrance Lacking Sheraton Quality: The room itself, along with the main entrance, felt quite underwhelming. Neither conveyed the typical Sheraton luxury I had anticipated. PROS: 1. Good Breakfast Spread: The breakfast had a good variety, although it carried the usual Marriott tastes, which didn’t particularly stand out. 2. Great Location: The hotel’s location in the heart of Kuching was perfect for exploring the city and easily accessing local attractions. 3. Friendly Reception and Staff: The receptionist and guest assistants at both the main entrance and restaurant were welcoming and helpful, providing excellent service during my stay. Overall, while there were some positive aspects, I found the overall experience to be lacking in key areas that are expected from a Sheraton property. I hope they address these issues to improve the guest experience in the future.

Reached hotel at 11pm with ultimate disappointment. I booked deluxe 2 double bed room for 3 adults, given the impression that it’s 2 queen size bed as seen on the app (we came with 4 adults and 1 baby thinking to include the last adult during check in). After I checked in, I realised that I was given 2 super single bed instead. Everything in the room was in 2s (towels, pillows, water etc). Hotel told me that their double beds are all super single size which was not what I saw in the pic during booking. Eventually hotel gave me an extra bed FOC “on goodwill”. I would like to emphasized that the extra bed is not FOC, I already paid for it, as the booking is for 3 adults. Hence it wasn’t free at all. All these caused some unhappiness for my family as these wasn’t expected from a 5 star hotel. And hotel manager told me that she understood my situation however there’s nothing they can do to. Not even upgrading my hotel rooms as my booking was through third party. I’m quite disappointment with the service I received. The help = no help. We had to squeeze through the 3 nights stay in the tiny room. Nonetheless, hotel housekeeping service is good and clean. Amenities and facilities are up to par.

It is located at the heart of city, suitable for business travelers. The breakfast is nice taste with variety choices.

Great relaxing stay! Close to everything and a lot of great food places nearby. Clean hotel, great pool.
