Nice hotel in the middle of city. Located near to klcc and saloma bridge. Parking available. However hotel seems to be quite old. The furniture and toilet. Toilet also not very clean during check in. Need to be improved

Pros - Location very good, walking distance to Twin towers and shopping mall
(* other shopping mall or aquarium via Grab)
Cons
- Hotel beside Malay Cemetery.... you can see clearly from the big window
- room chair no wheels, need to carry if moving around or scratch the floor, another wooden chair is quite heavy also no wheel
- WIFI not stable
- TV program very limited and a lot of snows flakes (not clear), if you need to see more program need to rent video recorder (if not wrong)
- Toilet flushing very slow
- need to ask for shaver and comb upon request but only shaver given.
- hotel breakfast not many varieties, both days almost same items
* book thru Trip.com stated 2 adults but hotels insisted only ONE name shown in their system so only give us 1 breakfast for 1 room (2 days), i requested to combine 2 different date breakfast as 1 day but not allowed. so i have to pay for 2 breakfast (RM40/person). The next day i shown the booking ticket from trip that stated 2 adults clearly to the reception admin but she doesn't accept and ask me to call Trip to check...
* if not wrong, when i reserved the hotel thru Trip.com didn't ask me for second occupancy name.
* close to 1 hr taxi from airport to hotel

My experience at Hotel Maya was underwhelming and did not align with its 5-star reputation. The room's layout was peculiar, featuring a door to an adjacent room, compromising privacy. The amenities fell short, including a broken fridge, an unclean shower, and poor lighting. The bedsheets were not clean when I arrived.
Moreover, the windows were notably dirty, detracting from the room's charm. The quality of the food did not meet the standards one would expect from a high-end hotel. Considering these factors, Hotel Maya seems more appropriate as a 2 or 3-star establishment, rather than a 5-star one.

We came across cockroaches/bed bugs, not sure exactly what type of insects. The cleaner doesn’t want to change the bedsheet because he said the insects will come out if he change the sheet. When reported to receptionist, only simple apologies we received. Won’t come back for sure! Just skip this hotel for the love of your body and peace of mind!! Don’t stay even for free!!!

The hotel location is good. Walking distance to KLCC and Saloma bridge. It takes only around 10 minutes. Variety of food for breakfast. Parking is free. The only lack is the noise from the club at level 13. Since I'm staying at level 15, the noise still can be heard. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Studio room - bathroom cleanliness is at the worst. Stained tiles & glass wall. Rusty water at bathtub. Complaint to management but they said they have overlooked for this particular room. Terrible experience

The room is not clean and I found some cockroaches in the room. The second thing is the bathroom equipment does not maintain well .
