Bnbbonaire Near the Ocean

We absolutely loved our stay at BNB Bonaire and would stay here again next time. Karin was the best hostess! She really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. She was lovely and was always working so hard to make all the guests feels welcome and happy. She even called the hospital on her phone for us because my husband was injured and needed to make an appointment but we don't speak Dutch nor did we have a working phone. Our room was spotless, and when I say spotless I mean the screen didn't have a speck of dust on it. We used to clean rentals for a living and we know clean when we see it! There is a kitchen in our studio with a fridge and burner and kettle and toaster but there was also an outdoor kitchen and a nice communal space which we enjoyed with some of the other guests we met there. It was nice and quiet and our studio even had an AC unit which I didn't realize, it was very nice for sleeping at night. We enjoyed seeing the resident Iguanas hanging out up in the palm trees. There is also a gear washing and hanging station which I didn't know was there either and I was quite happy about! The parking is very easy outside of the bnb on the street and there was a wall around the whole thing with a locking gate which made me feel very safe. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and the front beach walk right by the dive site Something Special. We loved out stay and would return again!

This is a great place to stay in Bonaire. It is close to the ocean (5 minute walk, pebble beach with trees). 15 minute walk into town with lots of restaurants to choose from. We stayed on the upper floor which has a bedroom and a huge terrace with kitchenette, sofa, table and chairs. The place is very clean and they have a good selection of cooking utensils, beach chairs, expresso machine etc. Parking is easy out front. Lots of space. In order to go to a nice sandy beach and a larger supermarket it would be better to have a car. Driving is easy. The communication with the owner was also easy. They were present on check in and reachable by whatsapp anytime. We were allowed to stay until 6pm on departure day for free even without specifically asking. Very relaxed.

Wij zijn hier twee weken geweest en werden gastvrij ontvangen door Karin die er alles aan doet om het je naar de zin te maken. Toen wij aankwamen was er koffie en thee aanwezig en er stonden wat biertjes en een frisje in de koelkast kortom perfect geregeld Het is een heerlijke locatie die voorzien is van alle gemakken en veel voorzieningen. Een schone kamer en douchen met warm water (lang niet overal beschikbaar)en een keuken met een nieuwe kookplaat en een grote koelkast. Als je buiten wilt koken of BBQ’en kan dat ook bij de grote palapa bij het zwembad . En heb je zin om het eiland verkennen dan heeft Karin vast en zeker een huurauto beschikbaar . Op nog geen 5 min lopen sta je aan zee met zicht op klein Bonaire en ben je ook al direct op de 1e duik- en snorkel locatie “Something Slecial” Het kleinschalige complex ligt in een prachtig aangelegde tuin waar de Kolibrie en de vlinders dagelijks meermalen de bloemen bezoeken. Elk appartement heeft buiten haar eigen ligbedden en een zitje maar ook bij het zwembad kun je heerlijk zonnen op de gereedstaande ligbedden. Het is ons heeel goed bevallen en komen zeker nog eens terug.
