Greg&Tom Beer House Hostel

Stayed here for 2 nights in August while interrailing. Beds were comfy, the hostel clean enough and the staff very friendly. Incredible value really- free beer, breakfast, dinner and great location in the centre of Krakow. Are the amenities a little basic? Yes- but I cannot fault the hostel given the price. Any hostel in Europe during the summer is hot and our 12 bed mixed dorm was no exception. My bed was by the window which helped but did produce some street noise (didn’t bother me). Would recommend travellers invest in a travel fan for any hostel (not just this one). Would also recommend booking the Auschwitz tour through the hostel. They were super helpful and the tour they facilitated was very informative and well-organised. Would stay here again !

Although I never stayed in this hostel I did visit the wonderful pub that's part of this hostel,been here before many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this pub, interior is superb, multi roomed, a cool looking serving bar, great decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a really good pub to unwind in. My twin brother and I were here on a Thursday night, a rainy and cold February, we got a table were we ordered pints of beer from Zywiec Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in. A big fan of this most famous of Polish beers, golden, hoppy, bursting with taste, when this beer is served freezing cold as in this pub its such a delicious beer indeed, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here and the great vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Greg And Tom's Beer House is easy to locate along Ulica Florianska, arguably one of the most beautiful streets in Krakow and in an area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Krakow.

Had a great time at this hostel! The free breakfast and dinners were amazing and it was really easy to meet people. Shoutout to Humberto for being the best staff member, always going above and beyond!

Popped in on our 1st night in Krakow as we were starving and couldn't decide where to go. Didn't have high expectations but boy, were we surprised! Stylish place, decent beer and great food. We had burgers, tacos and pizza and everyone was delighted with their food. The prices were reasonable especially considering it's on Florianska Street. In fact it was so good we visited a 2nd time during our stay. Check it out.

My friends and I arrived early in the morning (poor planning on our part) They allowed us to store our bags but we couldn't check in until 2. We had thought maybe we would have been able to relax in the lounge area but were not able to. When we checked in and got to our room, My sheets had blood stains, holes and were thread bare, the comforter was also thin and stained. Another in my group received a sheet that might have covered a toddler bed but definitely not a twin mattress. They exchanged out her sheet and she actually received a fitted sheet! A similar thing happened with a rented towel - it was the size of a hand towel, he was able to exchange once they received the days laundry. They offer free breakfast, evening beer and dinner. We participated in the free breakfast and it had a nice variety. They also always had free fresh fruit available. There were things (the lockers under the bed for example) that were quite worn and in need of repair. Room 7 - that we were in was right next to the kitchen and we had to wade through gatherings of up to 10 people to get to and from our room after 9 pm. They were typically loud until after midnight. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well. This hostel has an excellent location, it is easy to get to and near everything (including coffee shops!) The showers didn't offer shelves or benches for clothes so make sure that you have something to hang your clothes and toiletries while showering. We loved the restaurant associated with the hostel and highly recommend it. All in all, I would stay there again, happily if I could get a room farther away from the kitchen and lounge areas.

An extremely relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with excellend food. The menu was vast with something for everyone The drinks menu was superb as were the cocktails. A real chilled out placed with attentive staff
