Lovely resort in a quiet location right on the beach. The staff were so friendly and welcoming which really makes the place. I stayed in a lower garden villa (not really a villa as such as there was one on top of mine), it was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. My room was surround by plants which made it feel like I was staying in the jungle. Really peaceful and only the birds singing to wake up to. Ate in the restaurant twice and the food was delicious. My only negative comment would be that I would say it’s more of a 4 star hotel. I would definitely stay again though

Room was clean .

Resort Near the beach .

But 7-11 need walk about 10 minit .

Very beautiful estate and super friendly staff. Top arrangements of day trips, very nice breakfast. Nothing that we did not like.

The beachfront where the hotel is at was a bit rocky as compared to the other hotels in the vicinity. There are a few good restaurants just outside the hotel but the nearest 7/11 is a good 10 mins walk and a bit challenging to reach at night because some parts of the road leading to it wasn't well lit. Location wise, this beach is away from the main attractions so it is more suitable for tourists who just want to rest and relax and grab some food nearby. Service at the restaurant was better than at the reception. The villa feels a bit dated but overall considered clean and good-sized, with separate toilet, shower and bath tub area. There are lots of stairs leading to the various villas so do take note if you have mobility issues. The gym was pretty small and smelled so we didn't use it. The pool was pretty big though and faced the beach. We enjoyed sitting by the lounge chairs facing the beach and enjoying the breeze and scenery. We took long walks along the stretch of beach both to the left and right of the hotel but the beach towards the left side is much cleaner and accessible.

Hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. Beach front n atmosphere around is chill n relax. Room ambience is cozy warm n comfy bed. Breakfast is variety of choice and of course healthy yummy. We try the hotel restaurant, fish n chip & their signature pizza 🍕 is great. I will definitely be back again.

Nakamanda is a beautiful boutique hotel located at a nice bay overlooking an island 200m off the shore where you can walk to during low tide
We spent there 5 nights (even extended our stay)
We liked:
+Atmosphere of individual bungalows overlooking the ocean
+Nice clean room with interestingly designed bathroom
+Great service oriented team at reception and at the restaurant
+Breakfast and dinner were both very good
+ We could play golf at the nearby Sofitel
- Spa is currently being renovated until end of Dec 2022
Overall: Good value for money. Would return
