Hotel Michael's Palace

The experience at Hotel Michael's Palace in Košice was outstanding. The location is ideal, being close to the city center and major attractions. The hotel was impeccably clean, with a breakfast that was both plentiful and delicious. Everything felt brand new, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, exceeding standard expectations. The lighting and design were excellent, and the WiFi was reliable. The beds were cozy, and the bathroom was nothing short of luxurious. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The self-check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the availability of parking made it convenient for families or travelers with a car. This time, it was a family trip, but I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business visit to Košice with my colleagues.

One of the prettiest hotel I have stayed in. I like that the hotel is very modern, the self check in application was very easy to use. The rooms are huge and super clean. If you want to have a luxury feeling for a reasonable price.

The hotel and, above all, its services clearly do not correspond to the ratings, especially not to the standard of a 4-star hotel. The hotel operates on a self-check-in basis, which is fine in itself, but the entire check-in and room entry process is unclear and annoying throughout the stay. Rooms are accessed using an app that needs to be installed, and then the room is opened by connecting the phone via Bluetooth. You won’t receive a card that could easily open the room, so if you’re on a day trip or out in the city in the evening, you’ll suffer if your phone runs out of battery, as you won’t be able to access your room. The paradox is that the hotel has a reception, and a receptionist is present (until 21:00), but they didn’t help us with requests such as ordering breakfast and directed us to the app. I don’t understand the purpose of having a reception and hotel staff at all. Another peculiarity is that the rooms are not routinely cleaned (despite the hotel claiming to be 4-star). They justify this by stating “minimizing contact of maids with guests’ personal belongings,” and the bed linen is changed only after 3 nights, which seems truly absurd to me, and I have never encountered anything like this before. I consider regular room cleaning to be an absolute standard even in lower-category hotels. While the hotel allows requesting room cleaning by hanging a tag on the outside of the door (only until 13:00 on the given day) - we did that, but upon return, the room had not been cleaned. Based on these experiences, I recommend choosing alternative accommodation because the ratio of accommodation quality and services to the price the hotel charges does not correspond.

Amazing place with a beautiful stuff and friendly atmosphere. The design of the hotel is amazing. It makes you feel like you are in five star hotel. Very clean with perfect breakfast . Looking forward to go there again . Best regards to the owners and staff .

I have been to a lot of hotels in Kosice (Hilton etc). Believe me, this is the best one. The big room, the own secured parking place everything looks nice and new. This is a hotel which i felt at peace for the first time in Kosice (my 7th time there). Will be coming back there 100%, i stayed here in the first week of last July.

Big rooms with style ! It’s kind of boutique hotel. Location is very close to city center in Košice. Town is small but nice. Bathrooms is huge. Breakfast is good but not great. It has all 4 stars facilities. We stayed for 2 nights. Reception is helpful.
