We had the most amazing stay at The Habitat, Kosgoda, and we cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care that made us feel right at home. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was nothing short of perfect. A special mention to Mr. Sunil Herath, the Estate Manager, whose dedication and hospitality truly stood out. He took personal care of us, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His ability to speak multiple languages, including Hindi, made communication seamless, and he was instrumental in helping us plan our days in Sri Lanka. Beyond that, he went out of his way to assist us with some unexpected travel issues, investing his valuable time and energy to ensure our safety and peace of mind. His genuine concern and commitment to our well-being made all the difference, and we are incredibly grateful for his kindness. The hotel itself is a hidden gem, nestled in a serene and picturesque location. The beautifully maintained property, lush greenery, and the stunning beachfront created a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The pool area, the trees by the poolside, and the mesmerizing sound of the waves added to the charm, making our stay even more special. As Indian vegetarians, we were touched by the extra effort the chef and team put in to cater to our dietary preferences. The chef personally ensured that we were well taken care of, preparing delicious meals that exceeded our expectations. We stayed some 10 days at the Habitat Hotel and never before we had such a fantastic experience. The friendliness of the staff is fantastic. People are very courteous and available. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The view from the balcony is outstanding. The food is plentiful and various. Beach is great, and rather clean. Miles of sand and waves with only a few people walking along. At two occasions we had the opportunity to experience the great service and kindness of the staff and management. The day after our arrival we had a problem with a “lost phone” and immediately reported to the reception. The manager got involved personally and dispatched a man to look around the beach, and swimming pool. Finally it was found. During our stay it appeared that my wife had her birthday and to our surprise they had organized a special event for her at dinner, including a tasteful cake, candles, flowers and a greeting from the whole staff… just GREAT! I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and contacts wanting to visit Sri Lanka. Thank you to all the staff and wish you a successful future for the business. Gerard P.

We were at this hotel for two nights and had a great experience. The manager, and the staff were very attentive and the Chef and the restaurant staff provided exceptional service. It was very child friendly. This is a place that can be recommended without any reservations.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at the Kosgoda Habitat Hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Special thanks to Mr. Sampath, the Sales Manager, and the Front Office Manager and their amazing team for arranging a beautiful candlelight dinner to make her special day unforgettable. The level of service was exceptional, and every detail was handled with care and professionalism.
