Gaia Village

We went as a family holiday this place is clean and spotless, towels changed regularly, good food plenty of choice,staff very friendly and polite. The pools the bar were great and the entertainment was good we will certainly go back One note lots of mosquitoes take a plug in for your room and that as nothing to to with the hotel

We stayed here in October and there was good and bad, the good was the staff, pool and the night time entertainment but as an all inclusive one of the worst, very limited on choice of food and drinks and the snack bar was very poor, the atmosphere of the resort in the day was non existent, I’m not sure which was the lively pool and which was the quiet one, other than the staff, nighttime entertainer from Finland and the location I would have scored this lower, improve your all inclusive and day time entertainment and I think your reviews will improve

The context here is that we stayed very late season (the last week the hotel was open) and things may look different in peak season perhaps, but we can only comment as we found. The word we used a lot for the rooms, food and drink was "Fine", compared with similar standard hotels we have stayed in previously. The rooms were functional and cleaned daily, the grounds are pretty with plenty of sunbeds around the two pools. The entertainment was 'fine' and is always subjective, many seeming to enjoy it, although daytime and evening were pretty low-key. If improvement is to be made it is around the food and drink standard/choice/quality. Again this was 'fine' for us but could see where other reviewers were coming from, especially the "when is an all-inclusive is not an all-inclusive?" comments. The staff did a decent job in all areas. Self-service drinks in the restaurant is a good idea. The location of this hotel was its highlight, only a 20 minute bus ride to Kos Town (2.3 Euros each way from a stop on the main road). The short-ish walk to the beach and salt flats were worth taking, we were even lucky enough to see flamingoes feeding at sunset! We hired a car small car at 24 hours notice from N&J Happy Rentals at the bottom of the road (50 Euros with 'full insurance' and only a 20E deposit) this was pleasingly stress-free (compared with other hire firms we have used) and really convenient. The Artemis Hammam is only at the top of the road and can also be recommended. We were fortunate with the weather, although the pools were so cold as to be borderline unusable. Overall we were satisfied and would recommend, but is could be even better with just a few tweaks.

The hotel is really close to the beach, which is really nice. The pools were great and the food was okay. Rooms were clean. The staff was wonderful. The bartenders made really good cocktails and Aino and Joonas from the animation did amazing job entertaining us. Aino was always energetic, happy and her minidisco was super. The restaurant staff were always really friendly. Overall our holiday was great in Gaia Village.

This was our first time in Greece and we will definitely come back. Hotel was super. It was really close to the beach and the rooms were really good. The food was okay. The staff were fantastic. Luli, Andi and other guys in the bar were always super friendly and helpful. Aino did wonderful job with kids and she was always happy. Joonas was a good singer. I want to also say thank you to all the staff in the restaurant. They were always really polite and helpful. Overall our experience in Gaia was one of the best ones and we will be back again.

Our holiday in Gaia Village was amazing. Aino from the animation team was amazing. She was always smiling and she made sure that the children had a great time. She always worked really hard and she made our holiday memorable. Thank you Aino. Also I want to thank all the other staff at the hotel. They were always super friendly and happy. We had a really good time in Gaia Village.
