I don’t usually write reviews, but after hearing so many mixed opinions about this hotel, my partner and I were unsure before our trip. We decided to go anyway — and here’s our honest, unfiltered experience. ⸻ Let’s Clear a Few Things Up First off, I have no idea where the reports of people getting sick at this resort are coming from. We didn’t see or experience anything like that. The food? Totally fine. Nothing exceptional, but exactly what you’d expect from an all-inclusive. If you’ve been to one before, you know the deal — decent variety, average quality, and generally reliable. We didn’t try any of the à la carte restaurants, so I can’t speak to the food there, but I will say that the settings for both the Greek and Italian restaurants looked beautiful and well put together. ⸻ Staff & Service Overall, the staff were hardworking and professional. Some people mentioned rude service — I personally wouldn’t go that far, but there were a few staff members who didn’t seem particularly interested in engaging or offering any kind of friendly communication. They just did what they needed to and walked off. It’s understandable — they have a job to do — but a bit more warmth or a personal touch would’ve made a big difference. That said, many staff members were lovely. The bar staff worked at a fast pace and still managed to be friendly, and the entertainment team were standouts — friendly, energetic, and genuinely seemed to care. Even though I didn’t participate in much of the daytime activities, they still remembered my name, which was a thoughtful touch. ⸻ Reception & Communication This was, without a doubt, the weakest part of our experience. The communication from the reception team was poor throughout the stay. • When you check in, you’re handed a single piece of paper listing bar and restaurant opening hours, and that’s pretty much it. There’s no information provided about check-out procedures, how to use the safe, late check-out options, or anything else that might be useful. • For example, you need to check out by 11am on your final day, unless you’ve arranged (and paid for) a late check-out. If you stay past that time without an extension, you’ll be fined — which is fairly standard at many hotels, but they don’t tell you this unless you ask. • I also emailed the hotel four weeks before arrival, asking about paying for an upgrade. No response. I followed up — still nothing. • When we arrived and wanted to upgrade, we were told to wait until the next day. Then we were told there was no availability — even though rooms were showing as available online. We were told to come back again the following day, and the process just kept going in circles. There was no proactive help and zero follow-up, leaving us frustrated and disappointed. ⸻ Pros • The hotel grounds are genuinely stunning, with lush scenery and beautifully maintained spaces. • Cocktails were excellent with plenty of choice. • The entertainment team were fantastic and
