Andromeda Hotel Apartments

Andromeda is a paradise on earth. The hospitable family, mother Zia, daughter and don Marietta and Gregoris and his wife Ria, together run a beautiful apartment hotel in Psalidi on Kos. Directly by the sea and with a wonderfully spacious swimming pool that you can dive into from the terrace. I have been coming here for 34 years and always coming back, back to the family, my good friends. i have seen many islands but kos, is always on top. If you are looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy beauty and wonderful weather and lovely people, but where you can also enjoy a great night out and experience delicious food, come to Kos and book a holiday with the family of Andromeda. We had a lovely stay. The apartments, pool and public areas are all spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the linen and towels changed regularly. The sunbeds around the pool were new and the area was very relaxing and never busy. The family who run the apartments were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had amazing home made jams at breakfast and homemade cake in the afternoons. These are 'small and friendly' style apartments and are perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. There are a couple of restaurants within easy strolling distance but not immediately on the doorstep. Kos Town is about 3 km. The route is flat and a cycle/pedestrian walkway runs alongside the sea all of the way into town. Many people chose to cycle or scooter in but there is also a bus stop right opposite the apartments. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here for 10 days and had the most lovely time. The owners and staff were so friendly and very attentive to all of our needs. They organised the most wonderful massage for me which I had on the grounds of the hotel under a beautiful tree. The place was not just clean it was spotless! Our apartment was cleaned every day with fresh sheets and towels every second day. We would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back Christine & Paul 😊

Stayed in a family apartment with 3 children. It was very large, clean, with a small kitchen area and balcony overlooking the pool. Initially I was a little disappointed that it's right on a busy road but actually that wasn't an issue at all. We hired reasonably priced bikes to get around. Kos town was about 10 minute cycle and there are a few nice restaurants very nearby on the beach. The hosts were lovely and very helpful.

On Wednesday last week I walked from Niriides Hotel searching for a sandy beach. It was very hot and I began to struggle. I also needed the bathroom. There were no tavernas/no hotels and I was exhausted. I eventually came across your hotel, which was a huge relief. I should mention here that I am 64 years old and carry a little extra weight. I was able to use your bathroom and then visited your bar to purchase a much needed bottle of water. You only accepted cash and wouldn’t take a card payment. It was obvious that I needed to rehydrate. The water was €1. I honestly thought you would recognise my distress and allow me a bottle, but no. You could see I was alone and you knew that I had a mile walk back to my hotel with nowhere to purchase water. Fortunately, and because I’m not shy, I asked an Italian family who were sunbathing around the pool if I could borrow €1, offering a bank transfer immediately. They kindly handed me the cash and refused my offer of a transfer. Had they refused, I honestly don’t know what I would have done. I tearfully drank the water and set off back to my hotel Your receptionist should be strongly spoken to. I was clearly distressed and the consequence of his refusal to assist me in my hour of need could have been horrendous. I had no idea when I set off that the road was completely void of shops/tavernas/hotels. Had I known, I would never have started my walk. I’ve thought long and hard about this day, particularly since the news of Dr Michael Moseley’s sad ending. €1! Shame on you. @IainDale @GMB @KosTourismConf @TUIUK @BBCNews

Excellent stay ,calm and beautiful surrounding, just near the sea, easy access to the town , nice rooms with wonderful view,very clean and they offer everything you need. Staff very polite and very helpful.
