The Hotel in on the edge of kos town there is about 15 minute walk in and about 5 minutes into open country, Ideal for us as we like too see both the interior of the Island and the Town. One of our pet hates is sunbeds/towel hogging and were pleased to see, as our room was over looking the pool, towels being removed if nobody was sat on them, GOOD on the management to actually carry this out. The room was cleaned and beds made ever day they do need a little TLC but tell me what hotel room doesn't. Staff were brilliant they couldn't do enough for us, in fact due to an issue brought on by myself they bent over backwards to help and succeeded we are very grateful. This is not the first time on Kos, but the first in walking distance into the town and yes we in joyed it very much especially at night so much going on, the whole place lights up around the harbours + the town. If you stay in this hotel or near by, try the food in The Land Of Olive its opposite the Poseidon. Would we go back to this Hotel again YOU BET they pride themselves in looking after their guests and they did.

Rules, rules, rules! Petty and rude staff with a manager who openly lies. Not a relaxing family holiday, avoid if you are English. Substandard rooms, with a shower you had to squeeze past the toilet to get in and a camp bed which was a metal frame with three sun lounger covers on as a mattress, as uncomfortable as it sounds!

We have been to the Poseidon a number of times over the years, we have always found the hotel clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, we usually stay in the apartments which were refurbished a couple of years ago to a very high standard. The location is good with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The hotel has a very good selection for breakfast with a snack bar which opens following breakfast during the day. The hotel is very popular with a lot of guests who have been before some many times, There is a Greek night on Monday and other entertainment usually on Friday both very very good, Flight time from Gatwick is usually just under 4hours, we had as we have before had an amazing time and we will be back again, thank you very much Ange and the staff, exceptional definitely recommended Philsie

A wonderful family hotel only 15 mins walk from Kos town centre. Lovely friendly atmosphere created by owners and staff . The BBQ party night and music nights are not to be missed .The rooms are kept spotless and are very comfortable. We will definitely return

Amazing family hotel best in Kos bbq and karaoke night on Monday is first class brilliant band on Friday night aswel Ange Tula Johnny Maria and Nick first class the restaurant and cleaning ladies first class and so friendly fully recommended

Another fantastic holiday week on Kos! It is the third time we visit Poseidon hotel. We had booked an apartment. It was newly renovated and incredibly nice. Good kitchen and bathroom, double balconies, plenty of space in the bedroom and living room. The breakfast is perfectly fine, the snack bar has a good selection but it closes in the afternoon so it is not possible to have dinner at the hotel, which does not matter much as there are restaurants nearby. We had very nice and fun nights in the bar all week. Two evenings there was entertainment at the hotel and it was well organized and very nice. Fantastic welcome and service by all staff. They make you feel like the most important people in the world. My wife got sick and the staff helped with everything. They contacted a doctor and arranged for him to come to the hotel in the evening. She got all the help she needed. We will come back to this island and this wonderful place, Poseidon hotel.

First time visiting kos and happy it was at the Poseidon hotel what a lovely family run hotel in a great location 15 min walk into kos town had a lovely week there with great service all week would definitely recommend to others. I thought pool didn’t look big enough on pictures but don’t be fooled it’s absolutely lovely and never once felt busy sometimes had it to our selves. Would return x

Just had another fantastic holiday at the Poseidon Hotel. What can i say !!!!! OK First Class hotel management and very friendly, Ange and Toula (Owners) who go out of their way to make your stay every thing you could wish for nothing is too much trouble.The rooms are very spacious and well presented with first class facilities. The cleaning staff are superb cleaning your room every day with regular towel and sheet changes.Just a fifteen minute walk into Kos town with numerous restaurants and bars on route.I can certainly recommend this Hotel for families couples or single traveller Fantastic greek night barbecue on monday evenings with greek dancers and karaoke. We will certainly be back 100%.

Stayed at The Poseidon hotel and apartments for 17 nights and had the most amazing time. The apartment is modern, spacious and spotlessly clean with daily cleaners. The owners and staff help make this hotel by far the best hotel we have stayed at, hence so many returning guests. The staff go above and beyond to ensure all your needs are met and always greet you with a genuine welcome. We have stayed at many hotels over the years, and The Poseidon is the only one we will always not only return to but recommend to others. Family run, with exceptional service from all from the moment you arrive. Sincere thanks to the Kappas family, to the excellent snack bar staff and the lovely receptionist Maria. Can’t wait to rebook 🙂
