As it was pre-season it was very quiet, which we liked a lot. The hotel is built in a very nice style, low buildings with fine suites. Ours had sea view and overlooked the bay with the harbor. It was a pleasure to sit on the terrace and watch the sun come up and the town wake up, the ferries depart and arrive as well as the sailing boats and yachts. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The pool is great with comfi lounge chairs for relaxing and sun bathing. The beach is just across the road, not all sand but small pebbles. The water was clear but a bit cold for snorkeling or scuba diving. Later in the season it should be great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful improvising snacks at the pool and fixing a nice vegetarian dinner. Also lots of help and information at the front desk. For us, a week was long enough. The island itself doesn’t offer a lot of entertainment until the water is a bit warmer.

Classic and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are traditional and cosy. The staff offer exceptional service. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was really good which makes all the difference. We loved the location too. The pool and beach offered everything we needed.

My husband and I just spent a week at Porto Kea Suites while on a scuba diving vacation. We could not be more pleased by the support and service provided. Always genuinely friendly and caring, the staff went above and beyond expectations to meet our needs. Whether arranging transfers, connecting with local services, recommending sites or putting themselves out to make our stay as worry free and memorable as possible, they were there for us. It was truly a pleasure to stay at Porto Kea Suites. We will absolutely stay if we have the opportunity to travel to this beautiful island again. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Porto Kea Suites.

I was on Kea during a holiday long weekend and didn't have the foresight to book Porto Kea Suites earlier. Regardless, I am so glad I did book this hotel. All staff members, from check-in, to house-keeping, to servers, to bar staff were exceptional in the thoroughness of service and their welcoming attitudes. The hotel is two stories-no elevator. Suites are set up as cottages, with either a covered porch or balcony. Rooms & bathrooms are quite large. Use the AC or ceiling fan OR leave the porch door & kitchenette window open for cool sea air. I had a marvelous stay! Delightful porch with table and chairs to enjoy the view and just relax.

Sensational staff. Luxurious stay at extreme low price. Short walk from ferry and great restaurants. Villas are large with all the latest amenities. Quick cab ride to beautiful ancient hill top town of Ioulis. Island primarily serves middle class and wealthy from Athens - so not filled with tourists or bad food.

Having a 5-star rating is not due to a beautiful location, nice rooms, polite staff, a good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice! These are features that many non-5-star hotels have. Having the 5-star ranking and charging almost double compared to others MEANS CUDDLING THE GUEST, MAKING HIM FEEL SPECIAL, all this IS ABSOLUTELY MISSING HERE! In the Aegean some 5 stars have for breakfast a table with 30 different types of Greek oil, others have an attendant who gives you an iced placemat by the pool: You feel UNIQUE! In this hotel there is no bellboy to take your bags and take them along the avenues or the stairs are to your room! On the pool there is no attendant to help you move the chair but only a waiter who asks if he can sell you a drink. There is absolutely nobody on the beach !! The reception closes in the evening and until the morning you are alone and abandoned! In the morning at 5 the water is just warm not HOT! You have to work hard to deserve the star (and a half) DROWNED in the Aegean Sea.

The property was great, the location was super close to the port and a walkable distance from nice beaches. There were too many wasps around the property and the mattresses were too soft. Overall, pretty good value

We like everything about this hotel. The staff are very nice and friendly. The hotel is very clean and organized. Kids really love the big pool there. We also love the nearby beach - water is crystal clear, beach is kids safe, cute bar and restaurant there
