As a Scandic member who normally always stays at scandic either in Sweden or in Denmark for private and work, scandic hermitage is by far the worst room experience I have had. The only good thing about room 710 was the view. The room was run down, stains on the furniture, old and worn duvets, mold and bad joints in the bathroom and lack of cleaning, no fridge although there was room for it. Unfortunately will not come back to Scandic Eremitage again, even though the staff are friendly and the location is great.

Stayed here for 2 nights during my business trip. The room isnvery basic consisting of 2 single beds. There is no tissue pape and kettle provided in the room. There is also no body lotion in the bathroom. When I checked in I found a ling hair in the bath tub. On the 2nd day the cleaning wasn't done thoroughly and there was hair in the sink. Sound insulation is not good, could hear doors opening closing, footsteps etc.. The single bed consisting of a hard mattress and a mattress topper which wasn't comfortable. Pillow was small and needed 2 of them to get support. For the high rate they charged, its definitely overpriced for what they offer.

Nicely hotel located in a shopping mall. Free parking in underground parking. Short distance to local train (S-Tog) to central Copenhagen. Normally it is also easy to reach the hotel by car; but currently in the next couple of years (2023) look out for the signs during the construction og the new light train line.

Lovely hotel, bathroom area was a bit grubby and dirty. In the room the outside noise can be quite intrusive, not the best sound insulated rooms as you can hear other room doors closing and peoples footsteps in the corridors.

Access with suitcase could be better signalled when arriving by night so that you don't get dismalled to see the flights of stairs to reception not knowing there is an elevator behind. Attention at the reception desk could not be more welcoming, though!!

We booked the hotel for 2 nights at junior suite. It was an amazing stay on our wedding day. Though the hotel is a bit old in the rooms and you can see it in the furniture and walls but thought the stay was still good. Staff were so amazing that even for our wedding we got a bottle of wine and as requested amazing breakfast into our room. Breakfast in the resturant was really good, many choices, you could make your own waffles even. The junior suite had a bedroom and a living room space, in the bathroom there was a shower cabin and a bathtub. I really enjoyed the bathtub the day before our wedding. There is hairdryer, and ironing board, enough towels. Nesspresso coffee machine with capsules, a kettle and instant coffee and tea bags. A mini fridge. I would recommend this hotel. Thank you the staff for our amazing wedding stay. The hotel is in central Lyngby, above the lyngby shopoing center, so if you are missing anything you just take an elevator and you are in the shopping center. Close to lyngby st. Easy to take trains to copenhagen. Lyngby is a quiet town but though they have everything, a shopping mall, cinema, restaurants, very close by Lyngby Lake.

The rooms are awful ,there is no ac and facilitys are outdated. There is no value for your money here... We stayed in the 7 floor in a room that was poorly cleaned ,inventory was from the 70 ,and no ac which mayed it impossible to get any sleep.

The hotel is located in the same building with a large shopping center. Ground floor has a nice convenience store. Very good breakfast selection, but experienced poor reliability with pick-up breakfast boxes. Ample dedicated parking space in the basement. Worn bathroom.

Room was not cleaned sufficiently. Bathroom was lime coated and dirt spots everywhere. Very low water pressure due to lime coating. The room appeared worn down and lacked welcoming atmosphere. Disappointed.

Nice hotel for a night or two, in the center og Kgs. Lyngby. Would be nice if it was possible to get a light snack meal and/or a drink at the hotel restaurant/bar, since the hole town closes at 8 o’clock.

I have stayed in Scandic Eremitage Lyngby as it was very close to the place of my business. My room (403) didn't have TV working and the bathroom wasn't in the best shape. I looked behind the TV (great place to assess ho well the cleaning was done) to check if some cable was loose and saw a bunch of spider webs and "dead dogs". I went to complain about it on the reception. The lady working at reception went with me to double check, apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a second room (501). The carpet in 5th floor corridor was a first warning sign - full of spots, very old and worn off. The door frames looked like bitten by a mad dog. Bathroom with an old bathtub with the cheapest plastic "shower" curtain. Drywall ceiling above bathtub with visible cracks and different pieces of drywall disintegrating at different rate. The bathtub plug chain was replaced by a piece of old electric wire, but even that one was broken. The floor and sink strainer were rusty (clean but very old and not replaced when not in shape anymore). One handle of the shower/bathtub faucet was missing - only the core was left. The bedroom: The armchair had a disgusting spots on it - remaining recent se*ual activity. The curtains couldn't be fully closed and when closed to their full extent, they weren't even close to darkening the room, which in Denmark in mid-June is simply pathetic. No need to mention the lack of AC. The bed was way too soft - but that's more of a personal preference. The only highlight of the stay was breakfast, which was decent.

Considering the facility, it seems the cost too highly mainly driven by location of hotel. Overall facilities are okay but there are some areas of improvement. Management must look into price to make it little affordable.
