Caretta Beach Hotel

Lovely hotel, rooms are a bit small so we lived out of our cases but it's fine. Fresh bottle of water given daily. The cleaner sometimes can't be bothered there was a few times the sheets wasn't changed they just made the bed. She did try and put the dirty towels back on the rack too even though we left them on the floor. The WiFi is charged per device 10euro and more if you pay in lira I think it was 450lira. Food was okay hardly labelled but I mainly ate chips n salad and the pizza at the snack bar is amazing. The best food is at the snack bar. But there are local places you can eat out. Entertainment is good the do bits for the kids aswell. Receptionist Adem is amazing, always happy to help and speaks very good English. The rest of the staff can't really speak English or understand it. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and we had fun.

before arriving at hotel , I had to wear special belt , because I had terrible pain in my back. But Dr. Umit save me. He is so great and really understands his job. He knew what massage was the best for my healing. He has the best team ..Everything with empathy , kindess and nice smile. I could try Hammam and it was interesting experience. I felt like in heaven.T hank Sebo for your care, massages were amazing and helped me so much. This team is like the diamond in this hotel and reason why I decided to going to come again and visit Caretta beach. One Thanks isn´t enough. The worst hotel we have ever been to. First of all most of the staff doesnt speak English so try to sort something out on the reception is almost impossible. Food was probably the worst part of everything. No variety at all,for breakfast same type of buns in about 8-10 trays just different toppings on it,looked like they just needed to filled the space with something...Extra food was standing on trolleys in the restaurant during the food service. Food served at dinners was many times served for breakfast and lunch as well, even for kids (for example, chicken nuggets, onion rings, chips, mixed veg...dor breakfast???🤷🏻‍♀️) Food was old,dry, overcooked or undercooked all the time...Mash potato from the powder. Fruit only apples and melons all stay,sometimes nectarines,but pretty sour,kids wouldn't eat them. Definitely not good,especially coming with small kids. Half an hour sometimes even longer before the end of each food service lots of things already missing not being replaced, dinners till 9p.m. and few minutes past 9 already being kicked out. Music in whole hotel super loud,so not good spot to be with baby/small child. No need for music to be that loud,cant even hear person sitting beside you talking most of the time. Towels in the room were regularly changed every day until our day 7 when we got back from beach to found out dirty towels we put on the floor hanging on our balcony to dry (done by room cleaners) and then being told by receptionist that towels only being changed 3 times a week and to dry my 1 year old and 4 year old into the towels which were on the floor. Btw in the bathroom theres sign about changing towels every day. Bed sheets even being dirty only changed once in 10 days stay...Beach towels only changed twice a weak. Beach definitely not suitable for kids at all and its not sandy beach as written,stones all over the beach,access to the water very difficult even for adults,big stones in water,definitely recommending water shoes otherwise not enjoyable at all...sea water not the cleanest,beach is really dirty,cigarettes butts every where you look,bottle lids,part of lost clothes/shoes,plastic bags,ice lollies sticks...so if you planning to go with kids to this hotel,don't be. If you dont wanna be taking cigarettes butts and all kinda rubbish from your childs hands or buckets. Sunbeds mattresses old and dirty. All shops outside hotel trying to overcharge you for everything so be aware of that. Definitelly not 4* hotel, would say not even 3*. For money you pay for this theres many better options where to go.

Very good hotel, cleaning of the room every day, food/drink very various and enough. Pools are nice with slides, beach is nice, the entry into the water(sea) is quite sudden. Every night is "show time - oh my god" with a "pro" team and different guests. If you want to have more fun =＞ join to Husein at Darts or others activities, he will make your holiday more nice and time will run out very fast. Manuel is another "pro" guy. Join to him for stretching every morning or at to the pool... As a conclusion was a nice and fun holiday.

we spent very good time at the Caretta Beach hotel between 23 May - 30th May 2024. We are from Bulgaria and we have never seen so kindly people like the people at the hotel reception and the boys at the restaurant. THANK YOU GUYS! You are excellent! Especially we thank to Osman and Ruslan, very gentle persons! Thanks to everybody! The food at the restaurant was unbelievable!

The weather is great, only cold evenings, very cloudy in this region. The location is not bad, buses take you to the center of Alanya, the bus stop is close. The beach is gravel, stones, it's hard to put your feet on, it hurts, everything gets stuck, the water was very cold. The choice of food is small, it's always the same, we happened upon some Turkish holiday (it was probably the election), it made it even more varied, but anyway there's nothing to choose from, the food is always cold, you don't have time to warm up, I don't know if it's because of the food or what, but the whole family had problems with stomachs, abdominal pains, etc. Another thing we didn't like was that we stayed in a 3 bed room...we didn't get a 2nd key! We had to pay 1€ per day, we stayed for a week, it was necessary to pay 7€, not a deposit, but forever, what is this nonsense? We had to wait for each other, when someone would return, search and survive, whether anyone had lost the key, etc. Internet - paid, no matter how many days we are on vacation - 10€, the room (on the 6th floor) almost does not work. No shampoos, conditioners, hand soaps, ear picks, wet wipes - not found. Many employees do not understand either Russian or English, it is very difficult to communicate. The only pluses are the excellent employment of animators and free sunbeds and umbrellas by the sea, and there are also shops nearby. I definitely wouldn't go a second time as there are much better hotels for the price we paid...
