Grand Bahama Beach Hotel

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! I don’t even know where to start with this review. We pulled up to this hovel at 12 at night to see a woman looking dishevelled at the reception, she was a guest at the hotel who said she had food poisoning for the 2 out of three days she Stayed. We were then told our room wouldn’t be ready for another hour as our room wasn’t cleaned yet, baring in mind we had our six year old with us begrudgingly we waited round until it was ready. Walking into the room we were greeted to a lovely blood stained mattress, rusty appliances and a balcony door which the key was snapped inside. I went down to tell the guy about the unsafe balcony and explained we had a child with us and what if she woke up and went outside without us knowing to which he replied “why would you let your child do that” whilst laughing. Great start. We got up the next day and tried to make the most out of a bad situation but honestly there were a few moments where I cried I was so gutted. We are not people to complain at all but this took the mick honestly. Anything we complained about we were told “this is cheap hotel what do you expect” I’m sorry but £1200 for 2 people for a week is not cheap. We ended up spending TWO GRAND in 6 days on eating out and going places just to make sure we weren’t in the hotel and that’s not what you expect for all inclusive . The food is inedible it is left out all day then re used the next day , my partner spent 48 hours vomiting and on the toilet from drinking the tea as it from the mains (do not drink) we didn’t eat one single meal from the hotel, instead we had to eat noodles and crisps from the hotel shop. Absolutely gutted about the whole trip from the bad rooms, the drains stinking next to the pool, the disgusting food, the entertainment man who we caught with a 16 year old girl (he’s in his 40s) the staff who constantly harass you as a woman and point and laugh at people, the bar which ONLY gives you gin and vodka and that’s when they have it, 3 out of the 6 days they only had beer. Don’t even think about asking for a cocktail they laugh at you! This is my 3rd time in turkey and Never ever ever again will I come back to turkey, based on this trip alone. Thanks for nothing!

The holiday which I booked for 2 at the Grand Bahama Beach Hotel Antalya Turkey on 12th to 19th June 2025. Wasn't so much as a holiday but stressful, inconvenient, depressing and A disappointing time. would like to point out that this was supposed to be a all inclusive holiday. On arrival we were charged 10 euros to use the safe in the room, which was very small. You could not get a drink at the bar before 12 oclock, 1200hh, then the bar closed about 1600hh and running out of drink most afternoons and staff informing us that there is no more beer till night time. The bar would reopen again around 1900hh with only 3 drinks available, but would close again a 2200hh until the following day in the afternoon. The food in the canteen was not that good, pretty much the same each day, and some hot foods were served cold. The hotel was dirty, The shower in the room leaked all over the floor, which we had to clean up ourselves. The bedding wasn't changed all week. The towels were also not changed all week. Outside the room in the hallway was an old broken bed with nail exposed, which stayed there for the whole week which was a hazard. An electric box in the hallway was broken and left partley open, this was very dangerous. The entertainment was a disappointment, We was expecting some traditional Turkish entertainment, but none was available. For the first 3 days, all the entertainment was in German for the whole night. When we aproch the staff about any of this they did not seem to care about this. Named beach hotel, a bit deciving you need to leave the hotel walk to end of road , cross carriage way via bridge, walk for another 5 or 6 mins to get to a beach that was not that much, overall about 10 to 15 mins walk away , This was supposed to be a holiday, something to look forward to, but instead it caused anxiety and was very depressing, stressful and nothing but disappointing. I can honestly say that by the time the holiday was over we were glad to be coming home. I would never use this hotel again its disgusting,

This place is disgusting avoid at all cost. Food is terrible you have no idea what you’re eating nothing is labelled up. The staff are rude and unhelpful. Rooms are dirty never get a room clean blood on the sheets that they but on your bed rooms not fit to have animals to live in.
