Lemon Beach Resort

Hotel was very nice and clean , lot of options for the food all I try was delicious, friendly and helpful staff, lot of activities you can manage there I really enjoy a massage there , swimming pool had good temperature towels on the pool , would like come again soon

Excellent location, We had a lovely stay! Our room was comfy, clean and we had service every day. The receptionist team was very friendly and professional. The breakfast and service was nice and very fast. I would highly recommend this hotel

It was a cozy, clean and friendly place to spend a few days between Christmas and New Years with my husband and young son. They have a nice pool and children’s pool, the food is good and they have nice activities, some free and others at an extra charge. There is a short walk to the beach next door due to a government beach restoration project, but the beach was pristine and gorgeous! The highlight was an evening dance performance and drum session that came to perform the Friday before NYE. The room was clean and smelled like a sweet lemon scent when walked in. Kwame greeted us when we checked in and Issac and Jeff helped us check out. They, along with the entire restaurant and house cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is that they replace the giant trampoline because it’s worn out and make the playground jungle gym more sturdy. Also, be prepared for a wait at the restaurant if a large tour group is eating because the kitchen staff will be stretched. Everything else was great and I highly recommend staying here.

The experience staying at Lemon Beach was Wonderful. The service and food in the restaurant was perfect. The bungalow nice and cosy with a nice modern bath with running water all the time . WiFi always works!! I would love to go back any day♥️

Wow!!!!! Such an amazing experience staying with the wonderful team at Lemon Beach. They are the friendliest of people and will do anything to help you to make sure you have a memorable stay. The food is excellent and every dish we had was really tasty. The rooms are great and we have a lovely view. We did a few experiences which were just amazing - cycle ride through the town, visit to the fish market, visit to the local school, boat trip, cooking experience with a local and visit to the castle. Wow, wow, it was fantastic. I have to also mention that the owners of this Hotel do their very best to help the local community and this is really inspiring. This is our first time to the Lemon Beach Hotel and there's no way we could not come again. It was that good. You'll love it, we did.

The nicest stuff you can find in resorts. Each of them is smiling, helpfull and friendly. Their happiness is transferred on you immediately. Resort is perfectly maintained and with all activities they offer you will not feel any minute boring go there and you will enjoy as I did. Martin

This was out first stop in Ghana and we spent 3 nights there. It's a 3 hour drive from the Accra airport. The transfer from the airport seems to have a going rate around $100 (we initially checked it at an adjacent property). Lemon is well located to see the major sites in Cape Coast and Elmina. We did a day trip to Fort Amsterdam & the two castles just fine. We didn't go to the national park, but it's only 45 mins away. If you want to walk around Elmina, it's nearby too. Be warned: you're not walking anywhere from this property. So you need to have a driver, try Bolt/Uber (good luck), rent a car (terrible idea). The hotel helped us find a local driver that was reliable and nice, but NOT a tour guide with a comfortable car. It worked "fine", but wasn't ideal. The don't have a shuttle at the hotel to get you anywhere. The rooms were very clean and spacious enough for the two of us. We opted for the building over a bungalow because it looked more modern and comfortable. I think that was a good call. The bungalows didn't look as bad as I thought they would, but they still looked a bit more cramped. The only oddity in the room was the sink, which had a spout that was barely over the sink. So anytime you did anything (e.g. wash your hands) you got water everywhere. It was so strange... it's like they "missed" with the sinks and faucet! Breakfast being included was nice, but it wasn't really good at all. We ate it to get something in us before we were sightseeing. It's not a buffet or anything like that. The archery and corn hole games out front are not serious. Don't plan on using them. The pool is good for kids (we saw a family with littles one enjoying it). The beach volleyball is solid, if you have a group. The "beach" isn't really a beach. The rock barrier drops right off into the water. You are not going to swim in the ocean here. The big plus for me, aside from a clean room, was the staff. They are all really friendly and eager to help. The restaurant on the property was good and the Ghanaian dishes (red red) were all tasty for us as first-timers. I'd recommend this to anyone planning to be in the area. Just have a plan for your transport.

Lemon beach resort has been amazing to us. The staff have been very understanding and accommodating. Excellent problem solving, communication, and hospitality. The Chalets and Beach Villas are in excellent condition even after my initial visit 3 years ago. The Restaurant manager and staff were also superb. The menu and quality of the food has improved tremendously. The property is well maintained, secure, and peaceful. Emmanuel, the property night security, did a phenomenal job at patrolling and ensuring we were taken care of. Front desk manager excellent. Everyone here has been amazing and I highly recommend this resort. I wish I could keep it to myself but that’s not the Ghanian way! I plan to return many more times in the future. Madasi! My room was tiny with the smallest bathroom imaginable. However, the hotel was very nice, fresh, clean and they had terrific massages in a room that wasn't a spa. It was super inexpensive.
