The Leela Ashtamudi, A Raviz Hotel

Brilliant property and pleasent stay, staff is extremely considerate and friendly, vikas at front desk made sure our check in was smooth and hari our chauffeur provided us with a wonderful day out not only as chauffeur but also as a tour guide and translator, and yashodip and chakram made sure our room was spotless and accommodated all our requests proficiently, they also gave us a momento to take back which completely sealed the deal for us, definitely will visit again!

A Memorable holiday experience to cherish The experience of our stay was memorable, beginning with the welcome at the airport by the chauffeur to take us to Leela hotel Ashtamudi, 85 kilometers from the Trivendrum airport. Our special request to take us to the temple before driving to the hotel was instantly agreed. After the darshan of Lord Padmanabhaswamy, we drove to the hotel. It was late in the night, but the reception was excellent. We were guided by the reception staff to the restaurant for dinner, which was about to close at night. Check-in formalities were done later. The staff are trained to be pleasant in receiving guests at odd times with the same lively enthusiasm. The room was kept ready, and incidentally, it was the birthday; the floral decoration was done with greetings and the welcome message was impressive. The linen used for the bed, pillows, and towels was neat, fresh, and clean. The normal accessories/facilities like drinking water, toiletries, hot kettle, coffee/tea sachets were neatly organised. The staff carrying our baggage, accompanying us to the room, explained the switches and operations of the AC, etc. The breakfast in the restaurant, the next morning, had a live counter and many other options suiting vegetarians and non-vegetarians. More than that, the staff serving us were cordial and readily assisted the guests in getting their items to the table. It was a pleasant experience to be in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The selection of the menu was different on different days. We stayed for 3 nights - May 30 to June 2, 2025. The reception area, lobby are well decorated, reflecting the aura of Kerala - God's own country. Almost life-size elephants on either side of a welcome arch and a spice display in a large boat adorned with paintings and artefacts. A well-accomplished professional flutist is often found entertaining guests in the lobby with his mesmerizing flute. Evening complimentary offerings included a cruise ride in the backwaters, followed by high tea. They also occasionally arrange for professional artists to have a dance program in the lobby in the evening. The hotel staff are very helpful and took good care to arrange for our visits to nearby tourist spots. Jatayu was one such spot we could visit. One has to use a cable car to reach the top of a hill. It is believed to be the center of the earth, a spot where the wings of the mega bird Jatayu were cut by Ravana, when Jatayu tried to rescue Maa Sita when Ravana abducted her. Maa Sita blessed Jatayu to be alive till he meets Shri Rama and Shri Lakshmana. It is also the spot where Lord Rama and Shri Lakshmana could get full information from Jatau. Thus, the three-day sojourn to Lila Asthtamudi - A Raviz Hotel has been a memorable experience where we felt safe, happy, and enjoyed a home-like environment away from home in the midst of well-trained staff. We visited Raviz, Ashtamudi for a day out. The day out package is well curated with welcome drinks, buffet, house boat ride and also usage of swimming pool and the play area. The property is very spacious and has lots of places for taking pictures and simply lazing around. Kudos to Sruthy who assisted us.

Top class hotel. Immaculately clean. Stunning views. The complimentary boat ride and chai every afternoon is an added bonus as is the local dancing in the evening. I ate breakfast. Food was lovely very tasty. Best of all was the staff. The hotels motto is "the guest is god" and they certainly lived up to this. I was made to feel like royalty. Great Ambience, service is top notch, Food is amazing, views are stunning. Cruise was amazing. Staff is well trained and polite. Price to sevice ratio is good. You can find a better place in this region, Situated on the lake woth breaktaking views from room. Looking forward to visit again !!

Rewa was amazing she should be running that hotel. She intelligent and on top everything ! I wish more people would be like her then Life would much easier when you travel ! She so good at what she does and was so helpful to me in so many ways! I hope that she there next time I go and he the manager there!!!
