Tropical Heavens Garden Samui

A wonderful spot for someone who is looking for a quiet and peaceful place. Friendly staff, hospitable owners who made our stay very cozy. There is everything you might need at the villa, the owners are always eager to help. Located a bit remotely but it's not a big deal if you have a bike. Absolutely loved the place, would love to be back one day.

Pierre and Leila and their staff are exceptionally pleasant hosts, nothing was too much and they were lovely to deal with. The villas are clean and cool with everything you need. Breakfasts were healthy, filling and in a generous time slot, the location is "off grid" from a Western view point, totally authentic and after a few hours you feel like you have belonged there forever. The beach is a ten minute walk, the locals are friendly, there are some really interesting temples and the sea is beautiful. You can rent mopeds from Pierre at a reasonable rate and he is very relaxed about pretty much anything you need to make your stay more enjoyable. We visited the elephant sanctuary that he recommended at Bophut which was incredible and sad at the same time due to their previous mistreatment. Local horse riding in the sea was fantastic and the nearest restaurant, Eat by the Sea, is on the beach and very nice. The nearest town is a 15 minute cab ride with an array of bars and restaurants and there's shops five minutes away on a moped to top up your supplies. Overall we would highly recommend a very personal, secluded and charming location. Adam, Jane, Olivia and Leon (England & New Zealand).
