The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui

Arrived at Koh samui extremely early (about 8-9am). Ritz informed us that the rooms were not available yet but they were cleaning it and would let us check in as early as we could. In the meantime, during the wait, they offered free breakfast buffet. The service was impeccable! The hotel is huge so they offer buggy services to every location within the hotel. There is also complimentary shuttle bus to the Chaweng area (but not Fisherman village area). Spent 2 nights there and it was so comfortable. Buffet spread was great in variety and taste. Our rooms were located at the 3rd level so we had some exercise climbing (no lift) every time we returned, so those with issues may want to request a ground floor (but the views are worth it).

Amazing resort. Beautiful location but a bit of a drive to both Chaweng and Fisherman’s village. The service was beyond brilliant. Can’t say enough. Breakfast buffet was sensational Although a big resort and you mainly use a buggy to get around, this is easy and ready available. Will definitely live to come back.

The hotel met the upper standard with its attentive staffs and services. Breakfast buffet has a large selection that should satisfy all walks of life from Thai breakfast to Indian food. Swimming pool was a bit run down with broken tiles and sometimes sharp edges are found. However, pool staffs are helpful and attentive. For some reason, this resort is targeted more for families including toddlers and children which we don’t expect. But with the appealing surroundings and nice restaurants, it’s generally found it enjoyable.

We were a family of 4, staying in 2 rooms for 2 nights. We were very impressed with the care and attention given to the details by the entire hotel staff. And thank you for the great service provided to our family while staying here. which everyone was impressed and will remember this place in our memories And we thought we'd go back here again. It is a hotel with a very beautiful location in Thailand.

I had an exceptional experience during my stay at the hotel, with everything being excellent—from the service to the amenities. However, I was taken aback by the final bill, as it did not include the cost of my son's stay. It ended up costing me an additional THB18000, which was a bit unexpected and went beyond my initial budget.

The stay is good,but the second day we didn’t get the proper house keeping service . I believe the breakfast time is a proper time to do the housekeeping thing,as all other hotels and resorts I stayed before.After I called the front desk，it took like over an hour to bring me some water and refreshment of the mini bar. Besides this,the stay is delightful and hope to seeing you soon!

From delectable Thai cuisine to international delights, each dish was expertly prepared using the freshest ingredients. The facilities at Ritz Ko Samui are equally impressive. Whether lounging by the infinity pool overlooking the sea, indulging in a rejuvenating spa treatment, or exploring the lush gardens and private beach, there was no shortage of ways to relax and unwind. Overall, our time at Ritz Ko Samui exceeded all expectations. It’s the perfect destination for those seeking a luxurious escape in paradise. I can’t wait to return and experience the magic of this beautiful resort once again.

Great service! but if not stay the villa It’s kinda boring and way to far to everywhere

The staff are friendly and always willing to see to your needs, breakfast is plentiful and good but the hotel looks somewhat neglected and run down and it’s really not the same standard compared to other Ritz Carlton hotels or the same level compared to other 5 star hotels on the island like Conrad or Kimpton. If you had to compare them then this is a 3 star hotel at best, the villa is underwhelming, both the villa and resort are in need of a facelift/ upgrade and maintenance.
