Silan Residence, Koh Phangan - An Authentic Village Experience

It’s not even passed 8 months and we are back again! Love this place, you have a beautiful villa allocated on the beach side Very comfortable inside out ! You have all needed facilities , the villa is big with kitchen, dining room, bedroom, closet , washroom, and even a bath outside As well location is perfect you have restaurants, supermarkets, spas around you in a minute walk Very friendly and helpful staff, at our first stay we stopped at villa 16, this time we asked for it again and they were very attentive and friendly to assist us with booking ❤️ We just had a small issue in the morning with AC - within 5 minutes was fixed! The area of campus is very green, clean and big it has swimming pools as well, in case you are traveling with kids they have space to play around and enjoy

Spacious, clean and well maintained rooms. The view from the room is amazing (we were in rooms facing the ocean). The hotel staff is very helpful, available and takes care of everything efficiently..

Strategically located in the center of Chaloklum. Very nice , family friendly (bedroom, living room + equipped kitchen) and superb service. Everyone is very nice and makes you feel welcome. During our ＞2 weeks stay, we had to move several times between the garden area and the ocean view due to late booking in a high season. The Silan team made every effort for the process to take around an hour, moving and organizing our belongings to the new house. Location wise, many dining places around: Thai, German, French, Italian and even English… all at a very affordable price.

Modern villas with a small kitchen, full bath plus outdoor bathtub and very comfortable bed. Patio with hammock, pool access and steps down to the beach. Outside the walls of Silan, you are within walking distance of numerous restaurants with both Thai and western cuisine. The staff is friendly and gracious, always ready to be of help. Definitely a place to return to for a future vacation!

Our Villa was really good, nicely decorated, the rooms were large and a great living area with kitchen. Our Villa was cleaned daily and we were sent a message to let us know what time. Fantastic staff were helpful and friendly. We were picked up from the pier with no problems and the day we got there staff showed us to a night market right outside the property which was fab. Chaloklum is a fab little town and well worth exploring, I’d recommend the boat trip round to Bottle Beach and the viewpoint hike. There is plenty of restaurants and bars surrounding Silan. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, we were also given the option to use the beach side pool across the road which looked great but was too windy when we stayed.

The beachfront villa was very nice, we very much enjoyed it. The staff was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable for a family. The location is great with nice small restaurants and a home-like feeling to it. There is a very nice market on the same street on Sundays, which was a nice experience as well.

We spoke to the manager and were told that no rooms available which is fine but we were spoken to like rubbish. My wife was in tears as no one should talk like this to anyone. Customer service skills are lacking very much.

Whilst the majority of staff were very polite, there was a woman in the office that was just rude and not just to us at all. I hear her say to guests if you dont like then go away! We love the island but left a very sour taste with us. The boss as some friendly guy called Leo we think told us Eva possibly?? Just so rude. DO NOT STAY THERE IF YOU WANT FRIENDLY

Outstanding set of villas right along the beach! The view you wake up to is stunning. There’s a pool right along the ocean and with tiny luxuries such as an outdoor bathtub and a hammock, this property oozes luxury! The one drawback was that there’s no in house restaurant but the villas have a kitchen for those interested. The property is on the other side of island if you’re there for the full moon party, so there will be a fair bit of travelling in taxis if you stay here, but if you’re just here for the beach, you’ll love this place.
