The property is behind the Kodai Lake in the heart of Kodaikanal, but it’s not that close to the lake for a scenic view. It’s an old property but well maintained. Staff is friendly and service is great. But we paid 19k per night for the Suite room, which was certainly not at all value for money. The extra bedding was given on the floor with old spring mattress. Room had view of Kodai lake, but lake was far away. Had I paid 10K for this room, I would have felt okay. We had initially booked for 3 nights, but had later reduced to 2 nights and chosen an alternative resort for another 2 days. That was a great decision.

Well and good experience. Security guards are friendly and others staffs also prompt and had a nice experience. Food was ok, cleanliness of property is very nice Plants are very well maintained. Room was neat and clean. Daily cleaning done by staffs.

Stayed at Sterling Kodai Lake for just one night. The front office staff and restaurant managers are very attentive to you. Special mention to Saranya who is quite a warm and friendly person. She was quick to offer me a welcome drink while waiting for dinner. The rooms are quite large and has all amenities for a comfortable stay. Bathrooms and linen are quite clean. So special mention to Surendar and Gopi of House Keeping. The breakfast selection is very extensive and has a good choice of both continental and Indian. Front office staff was also friendly while checkout. Definitely recommend Sterling Kodai Lake.

Hospitality at its best by , mr. subramaniam, deepak and house keeing by mahalingam. Room was decorated very beautifully with fresh flowers and balloons. Very thoughtfull. Would recommend sterling to all holiday couples, families n friends

Had an amazing comfy stay on my aniversary. Staffs are very courteous and very generous. The room What truly sets sterling apart is the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Room Decoration from the hotel was very beautiful. Mr. March was very courteous and patient despite the hassle from the crowd in the hotel.
