Albins Glory

I spent 4 weeks in Albin's Glory (9th Sept to 7th Oct 2024) and stayed in 3 different rooms due to availability. (room 1 Riverview,4 and 6 inside) Some rooms are big others are small they offer 2 kinds of mattresses so you can switch from one bed to the other if your back has issues and I noticed everyone did after a few treatments so it was great to have the options in the room they clean the room daily and change towels and sheets every 2 days. The first and perhaps the most important thing to share is that this charming property in the tranquil backwaters of Vypin is the must-stay when doing Ayurveda at the Ayurdara clinic next door. The place is simple, authentic real and extremely affordable. The rooms are ventilated by a fan or you could ask for AC I didn't as I preferred enjoying the climate, especially during my treatments but good to have the option. The staff is warm they are so used to having people staying there for treatments that they know the signs when one is well or not well they truly care. Several ladies look after the property and cook homemade meals all fresh every day and vegetarian of course and approved by the doctors. It can be more bespoke if you need to and I suggest you discuss it before arriving especially if you have allergies, however, it is more of one size fits all as truly healthy. Breakfast and lunch are served outside while dinner inside after sunset. They offer yoga classes daily (300INR) to be held by Kamal at 7 am in the peaceful garden if the weather permits it or indoors. He is an experienced and kind yogi who helps patients/guests move gently. Food and Yoga are key parts of Ayurveda. He also offers other times and will discuss your needs. The majority of people are repeat patients/guests and I will certainly be one of them, from all over the world and I mean it. I met Japanese Australians Europeans Americans and Indians. Some became friends for life. The location is superb as only a tuk-tuk away (approx 200INR) from the ferry to Fort Kochi a must-visit for a few afternoons when feeling good and wanting a bit more action. Also many temples, beaches and other activities to do again when feeling good as usual when doing Ayurveda you have to slow down and rest. Last but not least is worth mentioning that the owners are present and spend time at lunch and dinner with guests and never seem to get tired of them. Jaison is a superstar he speaks flawless English and is always there to help.

初めてのインド、初めてのケララ州でしたが、オーナーのジェイソンがとても親切で、安心して思いっきり楽しみ、ゆっくり過ごすことが出来ました。コチのオススメの場所、バックウォータークルーズ、PCRの手配など、色々とサポートいただきました。シェフの皆さんもとても親切で、ご飯もとっても美味しかったです！！料理の説明やレシピもいただきました🥰 バックウォーターに面したお庭はとてもキレイで、ゆっくりするのに最適です。 毎朝ヨガの先生が来てくださり、ヨガのレッスンを受けることもできます🧘‍♀️ヨガの先生もとても親切です！ 何から何まで暖かく対応していただいて、大満足の滞在でした。また伺いたいです🙌✈️✨ This was the first time I have been to Kerala, and also India, but it was a really comfortable staying, so kindly supported by Jaison, a owner of Albin’s Glory. He shared a lot of information, such as good places in Kochi, a backwater cruising and PCR test for leaving. Chef’s meals were also great😳❣️I could get recipes of them🥰 The garden faces the backwater, which is the best place to be relaxed✨ You can take yoga lessons every morning, a teacher of which is also so kind🙏 I really enjoy my staying there. I cannot say enough thank you for what they have done for me 😊❣️ See you again!
