Klinci Village Resort

An incredible hotel located in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. It has a special charm that conveys a sense of calm, serenity, and warmth from the very beginning. Our apartment was well-equipped and offered a stunning view. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The owners were always attentive and kind, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was exquisite, and if you choose to have dinner at the hotel, you'll enjoy high-quality food. I highly recommend the fish, absolutely delicious. The pool is one of the highlights, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The hotel is also conveniently located near the Bay of Kotor, and if you're driving, it's a pleasant ride to the main towns around the lake.

One of my favorite places on this planet. The owners and staff are the loveliest people. A family. What they have done to their little compound is simply stunning. Keeping the old stone houses’ charm, bringing it up to modern standars, while intergrating the rich flora surrounding it. Chilling under the orange tree, with the warmth of the stone façade, overlooking the rolling green hills and the sea, hearing the birds and the donkeys, eating the tastiest local foods prepared by the sweetest chef Nele :) I love coming in the summer, but also in the winter. Try the gnocchi or the local cheeses.

The owner asked us to pay via bank transfer, but she said herself that it might go wrong. Well, it did go wrong, because my bank would not accept her personal details as a payee, only the name of the business (Klinci Village Resort). Her bank held on to our payment for 11 days before rejecting it, and when the funds were returned only 31 Euros from our payment of 200 Euros was refunded. The owner apologised, and she initially said she would take it off our bill. Then a few days later she said that the fault was with our bank (which of course our bank denies), she then cancelled our booking without warning. After the cancellation she asked for our bank details so that she could refund us the missing 169 Euros, but once we provided them she never made the refund. Long story short we have lost 169 Euros trying to make a booking which the host cancelled without giving us a reason. We should have known better than to agree to paying by internet transfer, it's much riskier than a card payment because there is no recourse with the banks if anything goes wrong. But what is truly disappointing is the attitude of the host: we were always polite and obliging during these difficulties, and we were willing to try and work out a solution, but she simply cancelled the booking - despite first telling us that she would simply take the missing amount of our bill. Then she told us she would refund the payment (of her own accord), and never did. So she lied to us twice, and didn't keep her promises, despite never getting any trouble from us at all. She seems very erratic, unprofessional, and unreliable.

Nicely out of the way but still accessible for local sites and sea. The family and staff who run this can not be any more helpful and contributed hugely to the success of our stay. Ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food is great value and delicious - freshly made pasta especially good. Pool is a God send in the afternoon heat.

You will like hosted by your own friends, in a quite place with a beautiful view. Simple and healthy food. No brainer. They rebuilt all the houses by themselves and have a lot to say about their adventure... If you ask 😉.

Das gesamte Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und in der Natur. Wir haben 2x zum Abendessen und 2x zum Frühstück (12€) im Klinci Village Resort. Wir waren absolut begeistert vom Essen. Vor allem den ganzen Fisch un den Risotto mit Oktopus kann ich sehr empfehlen. Auch die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und herzlich. Kleiner Tipp: Stühen Sie sich abends unbedingt mit Mückenspray ein.
