Vrachia Beach Hotel & Suites - Adults Only

We had a superior one bed apartment and it had absolutely everything we needed. The view from the balcony (which is a lovely size) was incredible over Coral Bay and perfect for watching the sunset. The apartment was really comfortable and clean, was well equipped with kitchen items, crockery, glasses etc. The pool bar wasn't open when we arrived as it was still spring, but the unusually hot weather for that time of year (29c!) meant the hotel staff responded by putting out more loungers and opening the pool bar. We had dinner twice in the restaurant and both times it was delicious! There is a really convenient bus route at the top of the road, buses every 20 mins into Paphos and Coral Bay, just €2 for each journey. Basically, we loved our stay. Clean, comfortable hotel with stunning scenery and good food. 😍

A cliche but this is a hidden gem. Adults only, and so quiet and relaxing. Treat yourself to a sea view room, it really is worth it. The accommodation is fairly standard for overseas self catering on a complex. We didn’t realise that the room was a little apartment, with separate bedroom, kitchen/living area and bathroom. Cleaned every day, everything is spotless. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times, the food was lovely, fresh and plentiful. All the staff are very happy to help but my goodness, Kirsty is amazing. So friendly and informative. We came here for a de-stress and it fulfilled everything we needed. I would advise hiring a car, purely forgetting out and about and seeing the island, as well as stocking up on whatever you need to eat or drink at Phillipos, just up the road at Coral Bay.

A genuinely wonderful place. We stayed at the beginning of our trip to Cyprus, then went up to the mountains and returned here for the rest of our stay. The sea facing rooms give you a wonderful view, with the ground floor rooms with balconies that are just across from the coastal path with great views. Breakfasts are really nice and relaxed, Kirtsy (?) apologies if I have that wrong, is a very attentive host. The swimming pool is just next to the hotel and for use by guests was very peaceful with a nice bar or you can order food from the kitchen. As its an Adult only hotel there are no children to contend with which does add to its relaxed atmosphere. Our bed was extremely comfortable, the rooms have fridges, cooking hobs and cutlery so you can do basic self catering if you like. Plenty of easy parking for our rental car. A perfect stay , thank you , and I am sure we will be back.

A little piece of heaven on earth. Situated between Paphos and Coral Bay, setby the ocean, close enough to hear the water hitting the beach ... the room (303) was lovely, we had a 1 bedroom apartment, very comfy bed and pillows, kept very clean and cleaners in every day changing sheets if required and towels daily. Kitchen equipped with microwave/kettle/plates and glasses and mugs etc. Utensils provided were great, just needed a clean.... we had a balcony overlooking the sea and over to Coral Bay, so beautiful. Only thing ... it didn't get any sunshine until late in the afternoon but it was great for sitting out in the shade. Pool area was great, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas... my only gripe would be that the umbrellas are static and you can't move them .. so if you needed a bit of shade, you had to move to another sunbed. Pool area kept really clean, pool itself was just the right temperature. We didn't use the restaurant this time, we bought our own food and ate out in the evening either walking to Coral Bay (and bussing it back) or getting the bus into Paphos. Both places have loads of great eating places. (Bus costs 2 euros one way or 6.50 for a day ticket and are very frequent). The staff were friendly enough although we didn't have many dealings with them. We love this hotel, peace and quiet, for adults only.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment hotel in September. The location is fantastic with lovely sea and mountain views. We had Room 202 which was great as it got a breeze on the balcony and there is shade (no shade on 3rd floor rooms). Kirsty who works during the day is fantastic and gave us great restaurant recommendations including Sonnys, Sunset Breeze, Harmony and Tsiakkas - all walkable but need booking. Our only complaint was the service in the restaurant and pool bar. The restaurant is not always open during the day and several times we got sick of waiting for someone to serve us as sometimes the same person was manning the pool bar and the restaurant. Also I had a glass of Prosecco in the restaurant which I took up to my room, I was asked by the barman to return the glass as they didn't have sufficient glasses (only 2 when I looked), I think the solution is to buy more glasses not annoy your guests. The bus service on the main road is only 5 minutes walk and takes you one way to Coral Bay and the other way to Paphos. We would highly recommend this hotel but they need more staff, more glasses and better service but it would not stop us returning.

We stayed here for a week in September, and enjoyed it very much. We had a suite overlooking the mountains in the distance (and the bins a little closer by); I am sure that a sea view would be lovely, but we were perfectly happy with our view from the balcony. The suite was spacious and there was lots of storage space, which can be a real problem at many hotels, so we could keep everything looking tidy. We only used the kitchen area for making drinks, but it didn’t look like there was much equipment for cooking. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was fine if not especially high-end. Air conditioning was very effective. The pool area was very lovely indeed…one of the stars of the hotel, and there was a decent range of drinks and bar snacks available by the pool. Breakfast was reasonable but sometimes became depleted, and there was little if any variety from day to day; presentation of the breakfast options could perhaps be more attractive. The hotel is set back from a busy main road. There’s no issue with noise - it’s a very peaceful place to stay, which was one of the pluses. There is a good, reasonably priced bus service that runs every 10-15 minutes between Pathos and Coral Bay that we used a lot. There are several restaurants within 5-15 minutes walking distance, but this usually means walking along the main road, which as mentioned is pretty busy. Of course I am sure that a taxi could be ordered to avoid the walk. The bar snack menu is available at the hotel in the evening, but nothing more elaborate. Staff overall are friendly, helpful and very good indeed, and we were definitely made to feel welcome. There are many hotel options in the area, but I think that we made a very good choice.
