Bed and pillows were far too hard. The carpets were dirty. We paid for the meal deal and our plane was delayed, so we were told the kitchen closed in 30 minutes. We ordered and got our food, but were heavily hinted to take it into our room even though the dining area wasn't closing for an hour apparently. The food was cold by the time we got it to the room. There were only two dessert options available and the only ice cream was vegan. The fudge cake and sticky toffee pudding was hard. We didn't end up eating it and the vegan ice cream hadn't even melted by morning. I also called before making the purchase of the meal deal and explained my situation. I have an restrictive food intake disorder and need very plain foods. I asked if the Sizzling Chicken can be made plain or if it comes pre-made in sauces and spices, or herbs. I was told expressly that if I explained it to my server, it could be made plain. Well that isn't actually the case, so I went hungry. Drinks behind the bar were ridiculously over priced. I bought two cans of soft drink and it costed me over £7 I will never stay in a travelodge again
