I give them a 3-star because the hot tubwas not working. This is one of the reasons for staying there. I feel the owner/manager should at the very least inform their customers that the hot tub was inoperable. Other than that, we enjoy staying here as its closer to Northstar

Contact less check in is not great. Had to call and then argue with the call center guy that our door code didn’t work. Took an extra 5 mins or so to get worked out.
Hotel overall is old but kept up and redone well. Room was comfy. Staff who were there were nice and helpful.

The room was very clean, many outlet which was very nice, housekeeping service refill the coffee & cups daily without requesting. It was just a nice comfortable room. The property looked pretty full (because many cars were parked at parking lot) but it was very quiet. Very close to Northstar. The lake is just across the street. I will definitely come back :)

Perfect as usual. Easy self-checkin, and easy check out.
Room is spotless, gas fireplace is cozy and romantic. Great comfortable bed and linens.

Super impressed with the room, property, ease of check-in. Unexpected we’re the wine glasses and picnic supplies. Lovely fireplace, comfy beds, and hot tub nearby.

Good price and good location. Room is older but clean and nice. There was a fireplace in our room which is so cute. We went to Tahoe to ski at Palisade and it’s conveniently located and there are restaurants near by. We enjoyed our stay.

2nd time we have stayed here and it was an absolute pleasure. Room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, linens were high quality. They had the fireplace on and the room was warm to walk into after skiing.
Service and check-in is contactless, everything done thru texting, and the get back to you within minutes. Checkin is effortless and they text you your door lock code. This will now be our go to hotel. We come skiing every 2-3 weeks.
We love everything about Firelite Inn!!

If you are looking for clean and comfortable affordable stay in north lake tahoe, this is a very good option.
