Kildare House Hotel

Hotel door locked upon arrival around 8 pm, guests can get in with their key but a bit awkward when you're trying to check in and there's no one at the desk. Had to go through the restaurant and ring the bell then check-in was quick. Hotel is clean and nice enough. Loud music continuing surprisingly late into the night (I stayed on a week night). The inner curtain rail on one curtain fell off the ceiling as soon as I touched it, and when I went to pull the blind down, the entire thing just unrolled. Bed is very soft and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the room is decent and clean. Fine for one night.

The new bedroom are Fab, the food in thw gallops is fabulous, delicious and a great choice for everyone, the restaurant manager Fiona is so helpful and her knowledge of the menu is fantastic. Would highly recommend for a romantic stay over. 5 stars all the way.

We had a very enjoyable stay . There was a short delay at check-in but the staff were so professional, polite and apologetic offering myself and my family a complimentary drink in their restaurant which was a very nice gesture. Room lovely and clean . With a generous supply of towels etc.

Visited the hotel for one night for a Kildare shopping trip and overnight stay. The restaurant was very busy on arrival so we couldn’t get parked at the hotel and had to park down the road. The food in the restaurant was really good and the staff were friendly especially our waitress, as was the breakfast tasty! Only downfall to this hotel was our bed, both are backs are quite sore today and we had to sleep on the pillows which were on the bed which was far from ideal… The mattress looked old and was stained so may need a new one. We seen signs during our visit the hotel is currently being renovated. However when mentioned on check out I was told this was very surprising as the hotel is complimented on there comfy beds regularly and they would have to let housekeeping know?! Would return in future for how close it is to the village and delicious food/friendly staff, just ask for comfy bed!

Beautiful hotel very clean lovely food would go back again staff very professional excellent place to stay for shopping in kildare village. Would highly recommend it .handy carspace. Anything you want is catered for nothing too much trouble

I stayed for 2 nights in room 208 Walking up a beautiful staircase I was pleasantly surprised to find a roomy prettily decorated with a very comfortable king size bed.I stayed Sunday and Monday so had no problem with parking .Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with very pleasant staff..Will return
