"Met in the foyer by a very nice young man who booked us in and then carried our suiycase to the room. The room was a good size but a sofa bed had been erected in the twin room, this prevented access to the window and part of the dressing table. I had to fold back most of the bed to make the room more habitable for us. On one of the hottest days recorded the air con was essential and worked well.The bathroom was a good size and was very clean. Dinner was served in a bar area and was served by the same young man from reception. The menu consisted only of Indial food, fortunately we enjoy indian food but if you didn't then you have no other option. Breakfast was Buffet style and quite sufficient. Overall a reasonable nights stay."

"I had a lovely two night break here and received a warm welcome. This is a period property with lots of character and charm. Peaceful and relaxing but close enough for a short drive or 25 minute walk into the village. For anyone with mobility considerations bedrooms are one level up. Roughly 10 steps up to a small landing and a few more to the bedrooms. I would definitely return for a future visit."
