Sun Outdoors Key Largo

Wow, what a beautiful place to spend time as a family. Facility was well maintained and very clean. Can't say enough about the staff! Diana the housekeeper pays attention to every detail. The manager Chris was helpful in parking our rig, was always willing to give us information and even let us stay a little past checkout time to coordinate with our kiddos nap time for the drive back home. The sunsets are amazing! We enjoyed kayaking, swimming and snorkeling and fishing. We stay at the resort for six nights and we barely ever left because it was so relaxing and enjoyable as a family. What an added bonus to having a grill readily available to cook while the family swam close by. The pavilion area always has a breeze, and the added fans and relaxing chairs and tables make it easy to stay all day long. We're looking forward to booking our next stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and well -kept. We got to do a lot, but hanging out right on the water at the resort, snorkeling, kayaking, and seeing manatees and dolphins up close was a highlight. Chris, the manager, was great and very helpful. Would definitely come back.

We stayed four nights at the resort and wished we could have stayed longer! Chris was responsive and helpful in making our reservation and answering my questions about the area. He goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have a great vacation! Our vacation rental was clean and had plenty of towels. We loved having a washer and dryer in our unit. The beach area has plenty of chairs and tables to sit and enjoy the view and sunsets! It’s immaculate and so peaceful! We enjoyed exploring the area but looked forward to returning to relax and visit with the other guests! We look forward to returning in the future!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this resort. Chris, the manager was very responsive and helpful in booking a vacation rental for our stay. You can tell he wants all his guests to have a great stay! The resort is immaculate and incredibly peaceful! The beach area has plenty of seating and is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. We enjoyed exploring the area but looked forward to returning back to the resort to relax and visit with the other guests. I hope to return for another stay in the future!

We stayed in an RV site, and we had a wonderful experience! My trailer is tiny without a bathroom, and unfortunately they only have one bathroom with a toilet and shower together. Thankfully it wasn’t too busy, so it was never an issue, and it was extremely clean. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff. They were above and beyond so helpful. Because they weren’t full, they let us check in early and offered us to check out late. They have wonderful amenities right on the water. It was cold and windy during our visit, but we really enjoyed sitting by the water. The WiFi was very poor and I had very little service through ATT, but everything else made up for that! Overall, would definitely recommend this campground.

The site is well maintained and clean. The staff is on the arrogant side. The property is too small for what they are making it into, which is a destination resort instead of a RV campground, by installing "Tiny Home" park homes in what used to be RV sites. These units are too long for the site, so they put them in at about a 15-degree angle from the roadway. One owner installed a metal awning on the side of their unit to create a side porch. Because of the angle of the park home, this awning came almost to the edge of the access road. They have a cement block wall along their intra-coastal highway frontage, with quite narrow gates. When checking in with my 31' 5th wheel trailer, an employee had me come in the "out" gate. Then because of the remaining short sites, parked my RV at 1 15-Degree angle on the "in" road, and then warned me about the close proximity of the awning to the access road. When leaving, another customer on a 3-wheeled motorcycle came down the center of the "in" access road, which I had to exit because of the location and angle they parked me, like he was challenging me to the road. I moved to the left to afford him room, and forgot the warning about the metal awning at check-in. My RV then stuck the awning inflicting $4,000 damage to my RV. The staff then treated me extremely rudely.
