Please note that the Dunes Hotel, Bar and Restaurant has closed down. 90% of the units are now privately owned and tastefully decorated! Be careful of the remaining few still under previous Hotel ownership. (Bad reviews) Search Google for The Dunes Keurboomstrand where it will display individual unit numbers. If you do not have a direct contact to an owner or agent don't book.

On arrival we found all bedlinen stained and dirty. Requests for clean linen were ignored. Toilet seat loose. Runner on table beneath kettle etc very dirty. Cushions on settee dirty and stained. Got impression that everything were throwaways not used anymore somewhere else. Washbasin totally inadequate for any use - could not even wash our faces because it id too small. The kettle could not fit under the tap and we had to fill it by means of a waterglass or teamug. Light switch for bathroom yards away next to the front door. No sanitizer of any kind for Covid was provided. Never Never Never Again !!!!
