Torc Hotel

We stayed for one night family of 4 .. very friendly staff , room was spacious and clean beds are comfortable shower wasn't the best , hotel is a bit outside the town on a quiet area .. dinner was just ok but the breakfast was great.. we would return..

My mother complained that her steak was inedible and didn’t eat it but incredibly was still charged for it .I wrote a letter of complaint weeks ago but still haven’t received a reply. Terrible service.The manageress insisted that the uneaten steak be paid for .So much for customer satisfaction!

Spent two days in the Torc Hotel. The hotel is outdated and needs refurbishment but it is very clean and comfortable. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food is very good. The hotel is a couple of km outside Killarney so you would need transport. We had a lovely time .

We stayed at the Torc Hotel from 11/8/24 to the 15/8/24 and I feel compelled to acknowledge the wonderful experience we had the beds are the most comfortable to sleep on with high quality linen and pillows the staff were a pleasure to deal with and the food was superb the breakfast was exceptional and for the evening meals were of a very high standard at very affordable prices I would highly recommend anyone looking for a break in Co. Kerry this is one little gem of a hotel listed as 3 stars but you get 4/5 stars treatment once you enter the the front door just 4.7kilometers outside Killarney town only 8 minutes by taxi to town centre

We arrived at the Torc hotel and greeted by very welcoming and gracious front desk staff who to our surprise kindly upgraded our double room to one of their suites. The suite was extremely comfortable with massive bed,flatscreen TV, WiFi , electric flame fire for ambience. The bathroom had huge shower with a raindance shower and a jacuzzi bathtub which were so nice to unwind in after a day exploring Killarneys breathtaking scenery only to fall into the most comfortable bed which was pure indulgence of any amount of pillows. We ate a number of times at Torc hotels restaurant. All the dishes were delicious with big portions. We had breakfast each morning in the bright breakfast room. The menu has good choices of hot breakfast plus any amount of cereals juices fruit and yogurt and continental breakfast choices. The hotel staff are lovely people and I look forward to another holiday in Killarney and to stay at Torc hotel again. 100%.

The Torc had nice rooms, great bar and bistro and a very welcoming and helpful staff! If there is a drawback it is the hotel is situated too far out to walk into the city. Our room had a king bed, large bathroom, couch and table and chairs. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and it was very good as well. We ate at the bistro and again good food.
