The Harbor Inn

A wonderful stay! We are already thinking of returning in the fall and will only stay here from now on. Mike helped us with our luggage, provided tasty breakfasts, gave suggestions for activities and food, and was always available for anything. The location couldn’t be better. Walking distance to town and also to Mabel’s for hot buttered lobster rolls. Our beds were very comfortable with just the right amount of linens. Slept so well after long days sight seeing. Mike’s mom provided homemade cookies every afternoon, and I can say that we miss those as much as our visits on the porch with other guests! A great experience.

Recently, my wife and I spent two nights in this very comfortable bed & breakfast, just a short stroll from the centre of Kennebunkport. Mike looked after us really well, suggesting places to visit in the area and places to eat. The continental style breakfast was both plentiful and delicious and the homemade cakes and cookies offered in the late afternoon were a very welcome addition after a day sightseeing. We also spent some time drinking wine on the rocking chairs on the deck. Heaven! We'd love to visit this area again and the Harbor Inn.

Sweet little inn, a few blocks away from the bustle of downtown Kennebunkport, but definitely walkable to town. Our room and bed were comfortable and the extra offerings of bikes and beach chairs were a nice touch. Mike the innkeeper was super helpful in answering our questions and making suggestions. The inn is about to undergo some renovations and will become even better. A nice place to stay!

The last week of summer was a family bomb at our house, and we needed a quick respite by the sea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Harbor Inn. The Inn was charming and felt calming and restorative. Mike, the innkeeper, was friendly and knowledgeable. The Inn is a family business, and as the front man, Mike exceeded our expectations as host. The details were delightful - from oatmilk in the coffee pantry to bona fide Charmin comfort in the restrooms. Remarkable! We enjoyed our evenings on the porch in rockers with a cocktail. It was exactly what we needed to refill our cups for life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. Thanks so much!! ❤️

The Harbor Inn in Kennebunkport is a real home from home. Mike is a fantastic host and very accommodating. Everything about the place is so welcoming. The daily home baked goodies are just the best and the location is great for heading into town or walking up to the beach

The Harbor Inn is just about the most perfect location in Kennebunkport. Situated on picturesque Ocean Avenue, the Harbor Inn is a short walk (and an even shorter ride on one of the many complimentary bikes available for guests) to the hustle and bustle of town or down to scenic Walker's Point. We even biked to the famed White Barn Inn for dinner one night. Even more perfect than the location is the ambiance and service at the Harbor Inn. The deep front porch with rocking chairs, the cozy and very Maine-esque living room, den, and dining area make you feel right at home. Mike, the innkeeper, is the piece de resistance, making guests feel welcome and like family at this perfect New England hideaway. When he is not hosting breakfast each morning or setting out bakery fresh cookies, he is making sure the guests needs are otherwise attended to. The powerful A/Cs and comfy bed linens are notable upgrades that we enjoyed. You will not be disappointed if you are ready to experience the true Maine bed and breakfast experience. Five out of five and we will be back all the way from Dallas.
