The room was comfortable and clean. What I did not expect and nor was I warned about the problem with the water supply. It had clearly been an issue before and was an issue on the night I checked in. I booked the room on my arrival from a US inbound flight and I had missed my connecting flight to Durban. I booked at the last minute and they had a room available. When I called to see if they had a room available the person I spoke to should have said they are having water issues and that I may have no water to shower that night, she did not. It was only after I had paid and went into the room that I was made aware of the water problem. At that point I was too tired to argue and there was a little water in the morning to have a quick shower. I left very early so did not raise this with the owners at the time. The water supply has been an issue and they either need to make a plan to fix it when the problem occurs or the make guests aware of the problem before they arrive. I know it has been a problem in the past because they had printed signs in the rooms to explain the issue and the signs were old. It is a pity as I would have given them a far better rating had I been made aware at the time. I was not even offered a discount on the room rate.
