Scandic Kemi

破冰船的車會來這個酒店接，然後再送回這個酒店，住這裏很方便。酒店對面可以停車。早餐品種不算多，但是挺齊全，水果，酸奶，現磨咖啡。早餐6點就有。

房間很舒適，早餐豐富，晚餐有傳統做法的馴鹿肉和紅麥芽酒，很不錯👍

Scandic is usually a good choice for an easy one night stay in a standard hotel, but not this time. On arrival lobby is packed with people and there is only one person working at the front desk. A group has problems with their reservation and the other customers end up waiting more than half an hour for check in. I finally get a room. The room has a bad smell and is awfully hot. ( It is winter and minus degrees outside), no way to adjust the temperature. I chose the hotel for the possibility to charge my car, I did not even find the charger but the app showed there was only 2 outlets and both in use, so my morning started with a trip to the nearest charging station.

This a cosy hotel in middle of Kemi. The service staff, reception staff and everyone was super friendly and helpful. I am giving an extra star just because of the humane touch they have provided to whole vacation. They are super knowledgeable about the place, gives solid advice and support at any time of the day. I would anyday recommend this hotel

Clean room situated in Kemi, not far from the snow castle and center. Good warm sauna with a small pool. However, the floor in sauna shower room was slippery as the drain did not work properly. Free parking for the car. Friendly people at the reception.

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is conveniently located 10-15 min walk from the train station. This is an older hotel, but with clean nice rooms and everything functional. Staff were very professional and friendly. Ice Castle is only 15 min walk from this hotel and there are shops nearby. Sincerely Marianne & Anders

This former Cumulus Hotel has quite outdated decor, especially in the rooms. The senior rate for a standard room was very affordable, 94 euros. For our date, the normal price would have been around 180 euros which is absolutely too much for what you get. At the moment, there is a high demand for rooms because the hotel accommodates workers who are building the new forest factory. As my partner is a Scandic TOP Level member, we got an upgrade to a standard family three room and a 15-euro restaurant voucher. Also, a nice welcome gift was waiting on the table and we got a complimentary late check-out at 16:00. It was nice because we had a flight leaving at 20:20. Our room was practical. There were plenty of power outlets. The biggest problem was the lack of air conditioning. Although the outside temperature was around +10 and we kept the window open, the inside temperature didn't drop under +24. There was an empty minibar which was practical. There is a big grocery store located behind the hotel. We missed coffee-making facilities. Most Scandics in Finland have them also in standard rooms. The breakfast was excellent. It was pleasantly calm at 9:00 because all the workers had already gone to work. The well-kept buffet had a wide selection of food. The reception staff was very friendly.
