It was a generally nice holiday and staff has been mostly helpful and friendly. Building and facilities are new and modern. I liked the energy saving solutions especially. Beds and bedding were comfortable and rooms spacious. However I would like to point out at certain negative sides of this hotel and service. When we checked in rooms were clean, minibar full, but there was only two sets of towels even we were three persons. (1 adult 2 children). After arrival and until I complained room was not cleaned, they only emptied bins, hanged towels neatly, straightened bedding and folded sheets. The actual washing, dusting and wiping was not performed, there were marks and stains around sink, dust and sand on the floor. Minibar was often not replaced. I had to complain to reception few times, sometimes they would fix things sometimes nothing has been done. Food was good and selection was good, BUT there were SO MANY flies! Absolutely everywhere in the restaurant, they sat on food and were constantly present. It redused the pleasure of enjoying the food. Main restaurant was also quite small relative to the amount of guests, best tables by the window with the view were often reserved by the management. Waiters though tried to do a good job and find you a table and clear fast between the guests, so we appreciated it. They also worked incredibly fast and were pleasant. I would however suggest they should be stricter and refused people in wet swimsuits. Hotel that promotes itself as sustainable should also find a solution to replace insane amount of plastic water bottles and plastic straws and wrapping. I would also suggest to weigh all the food scraped from the plates and in the morning post the number of kilograms visibly in the screens or signs, for people to think before they take food they won’t eat. Pools were clean and area generally clean. Beach is small though again-in comparison to the size of the hotel, sunbeds so close to each others and it gets very packed. My youngest son also got a big scratch on the way from our room (1st floor block 3), it was a metal fence around the playroom sharp corners of which were not protected. I took a picture and showed it to the reception, I suggested it should be fixed before more children hurt themselves. We went to the first aid office and were dissapointed that the nurse there didn’t speak any English (neither did she speak Russian), considering it’s a tourist place I think all staff should at least manage some basic English. Overall I’d say if the hotel improved all the above-mentioned things I’d come back to it again. :)
