Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Kearney, NE

This probably would have been a great place to stay. The issue I had was with Trip/Expedia. As i was looking for a place to stay for a Dr. appointment, somehow on this particular site the date ended up being incorrect and I didn't notice as it had been correct on all the other motels I had looked at but... I knew I had to be there so signed up for a non-refundable night. Didn't catch the incorrect date until after I had approved it. I looked through contact options and they had one listed that said incorrect date, ok should be no problem, I will just change the date and still stay there. The site said they had to contact the merchant, ok I can see that, I knew the night I NEEDED to stay was more expensive but was ok with that. Got a message saying the merchant wasn't going to allow me to change as it was a non-refundable night, I wasn't trying to not stay there just change the date. I happened to be in the town so I stopped at the motel and talked with the manager and was told that they couldn't change it without the approval of Trip/Expedia hmm guess they must be the "merchant" rather than the hotel. So I "donated" the cost of a room to some corporation. So Trip/Expedia for what it's worth I will not be using you again for any travel.
