Gouves Bay by Omilos Hotels

We stayed at Gouves Bay for 5 nights. The rooms were spacious, the equipment worked, everything was clean, very nice cleaners. Very helpful staff at the reception, always at your service, willingly explained how the buses work in Gouves, helped with everything. The evening program was good. Beautiful environment, rocky beach right behind the hotel, sandy beach about 8 minutes on foot. The food was excellent, always fresh and varied every day. The staff in the restaurant was very fast, always smiling and kind to the guests, especially Hana. We really enjoyed our stay at Gouves Bay Hotel. The only small downside was that our balcony faced the restaurant and was on its level - so we didn't feel comfortable spending time there during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I had a fantastic stay at Gouves Bay Hotel! The room was comfortable, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A special thanks to Rio for his exceptional help and kindness. He truly made our stay memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great holiday experience!

We arrived ealier in the week the rooms good room cleaning excellent food soso The evening entertainment is rubbish one guy really friendly but no talent what so ever this hotel needs structured entertainment as not much going on outside the hotel you feel a little trapped.

We have stayed in Gouves many times and tried the majority of the hotels. Sadly we wouldn’t return to this one though. We definitely didn’t rate it a 4*. We are used to hotels in Greece and understand the standards and it definitely didn’t rate as a 4*. So the good : Location is great Bar, Restaurant & cleaners were all very friendly Tea & coffee facilities in room along with a fridge. The bad : Food isn’t particularly hot, unlabelled and not much for children - it is quite repetitive but we got by just about. Snacks were just dried sandwiches & left over biscuits. We hoped ice cream would be on offer during the day for children but was only available at lunch & dinner. Rooms - We had various issues and were promised they would be fixed and kept being told someone was coming to fix them… of course no one did. We had to move rooms which still had issues … which no one fixed! Reception just kept making excuses with no intention of getting anything fixed. Showers are ridiculous just one screen up so the whole bathroom floods and is such a hazard. The drains in the bathroom smell disgusting - not helped with our extractor fan not working. The rooms are not particularly big for a family of 4, only furniture for two people on balcony. I wouldn’t say the hotel is family friendly pool areas are small , no chance of getting a sun bed as people were putting towels down the night before. No children’s entertainment when we were there. We didn’t stay in for any evening entertainment as we went out for drinks as we didn’t fancy sitting on a few seats by the pool in the evening it was just a small area not really a dedicated entertainment area. If you didn’t want to take part in water volleyball at 3o’clock in both kids & main pool you had no chance of going in there. The main rail going up stairs from pool to the lobby area was so unsafe it was loose so wobbled around and like wise with a railing on a second floor. 1 adult & 1 child ended up with sickness from the holiday which wasn’t great!

The hotel is a lovely place but basic. The rooms were okay, comfortable bed but did have to ask for an extra pillow as I had a flat pillow (May as well slept on the mattress) the mosquito plug in, didn’t work. Always got bitten! Our room key never worked, even going to reception to ask if it’s been fixed. We had an old school key. Luckily for us we was able to leave our air on, all the time. But we did have to leave the patio door unlocked to get in sometimes. There was one night, where our door didn’t close and was left open. We didn’t realise till we got back. My boyfriend is allergic to nuts and on most nights all he ate was chips, bread and sweetcorn. There was only one night where he was aloud to eat everything that was being served. There were never any labels around the food to tell you what’s in the dishes and as someone who doesn’t really eat meat, there wasn’t much fish/veggie options. I’ve never known an all inclusive holiday to cut drinks off at 11pm. My boyfriend got changed just after and bill was sent to our room to pay. Then when he paid, their card machine didn’t work and wanted to send his details to another hotel. We checked out at 12pm but was never given a room to keep our things till we leave (picked up at 8:50) our bags were currently in the reception and all our hand luggage was with us at pool. We also asked for dinner and was going to be charged €50pp! We unfortunately got delayed and just as we were leaving for our transfer, the manager then offered us dinner but got someone else to tell us and not himself. The bar staff were rude other than one lady who had a smile all the time and was very polite (long black hair and tall). The only good thing was the lovely entertainment staff; Anna, Rio & Tatiana who always had a smile on their face and spoke to us every morning. The waiters/waitress were lovely and polite. Always asked before taking our plates away. The maid, was so good at her job. We went for breakfast and came back for our bag and our room was already clean. She always had a smile on her face and said morning every day. This hotel is more for self catering purposes than all inclusive. Don’t think it should be 3 star. More like 2.5 stars. Wouldn’t recommend if you are a family, it says family friendly but nothing here for a family.

Utter sh*t Rooms are basic and the key to the door didn’t work reported to reception nothing done about it had to leave the back door unlocked Food is just left under headlamps nothing fresh We checked out at 12am bring picked up at 9pm to be taken to the airport then to be told if we wanted to eat here we had to pay extra when it says all inclusive Only saving grace it’s the entertainment team are brilliant

Stayed for 9 nights at this hotel. Food was okay but mostly the same as all inclusive hotels. Rooms were clean and spacious. Air con was great especially when it was so hot outside! Small pool but good enough to still enjoy. Rio was amazing! He definitely pulled his weight as an entertainer. His fire show was very impressive. Only down side to the hotel is the sun bed situation, there is a bit of a fight for sun beds. People would leave towels out over night to reserve the sun bed for the next day. Saying that we never went a day without finding one. Over all a good stay.

What an amazing entertainment staff you have! Tatiana and Rio you went above and beyond for my two and I cannot thank you both enough! From morning till night you worked tirelessly to ensure the kids were laughing, happy and included in all games! Thank you for making 2 small children very happy and a mum very relaxed!!

The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. I have a gluten intolerance, so each meal I was told by Marinos the maitre d or the chef what I could have, and they keep a supply of gluten free bread and cereal in the kitchen. All the staff from the Receptionists, waiters and waitresses were so lovely and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Rio who was in charge of entertainment was brilliant with adults and children. There is plenty of entertainment throughout the day from water polo, volleyball, stretching exercises to name a few. Evening entertainment ranged from live music to bingo and quizzes. There was always something going on. Would definitely recommend this place.
