We had some reservations going for this, but a quick message later everything was set for good. They arranged for an airport pickup and stood by it despite delay and rains. The hotel rooms are named after popular peaks in Nepal, and we were allotted a Mount Ganesh on 2nd floor. The room was decently sized, not big and definitely not small by any means, apt for 2. There isn't much of a view from the window, but I was delighted with good amount of sunlight in an elsewhere yellow-lit room. They have their best room aptly titled Mt Everest located on the 5 floor. What stands out for them is the location. It is very conveniently located in the heart of Thamel tourist bazaar, and nearby local cold stores; talk about money exchange, sim cards, quick grocery, and more. The hospitality of the staff was top notch, with a shoutout to the manager Mr Jayaram. He generously offered me their comforting masala chai everytime I used to prod for one. Everyone is very helpful, and they helped book us taxis at local fares any time of the day. The rooftop restaurant serves a delicious breakfast spread, with a glass-top outdoor seating. Unfortunately, we weren't served a buffet due to limited number of guests but they made up by offering any item from their ala carte menu. And they have some of the best items in their spread. Overall, it was very pleasant and we did return after checkout when we needed some help with post, which was graciously taken up by Mr Jayaram. Surely recommend it for solo and families alike.
