Rajaklana Resort and Spa

Finally, we arrived in Jogja. As it was the weekend and we didn't want to be in the middle of the crowd of the city, we tried to find a hotel in kind of in remote area. Well, too bad, out of our expectations, this hotel was full in capacity with a lot of kids. I didn't have many complaints regarding the room itself. The room is very spacious, traditional built, open-space bathroom, good AC, and good lighting inside the room as well. Water heater and water pressure were fine. For the wifi, it was hopeless, because we had to bear with non-wifi for our stay there. Thank God it was only 1 night. Actually they are 18 units in the hotel area. We were at Halmahera unit. Each unit has its own patio. However, since it is a traditional building with open space bathroom, we could hear neighbor's noise. Too bad, we had to listen the kid crying next door before our sleep at night and traffic noise that I didn't know if there was a road behind our unit. Breakfast was delivered to our room. The common area such as pool and sitting area are cozy with a lot of palm trees. Restaurant and spa room are in different location. The hotel offers shuttle for free to transport the guest from/to hotel and restaurant/spa room. We tried the massage in the spa room. It was a great experience. An open space facing to little forest with tons of trees. Just back to the nature while doing the couples massage. Restaurant is also an open space area. They have family cottages in this area with swimming pool as well. Guess this area is more suitable for guests coming with kids though. But, anyway, we were having good times with the massage though.

Amazing view Beautiful tropical garden, valley and hanging pool. The floating breakfast is a must! Overlooking to the natural environment. Windy, so good to sleep The handmade furniture is so cool 🫶 Friendly and cooperative staff Recommended for long stay!

Une petite semaine sur place de rêve Cadre hyper agréable et personnel au petit soin Il y a deux sites pour le même hôtel Family place et l’autre Nous avions réservé avec nos deux filles dans le family village où il y a le resto et une zone de jeu. En arrivant erreur la zone de jeu juste devant le logement une scène de monté avec grandes enceintes le mini zoo juste devant Nous avons demandé à changé et le miracle s’est mis en place Ils nous ont présenté les chambres et autres logements disponible dans l’autre zone (celle d’accueil) et tout était parfait ! Petit dej servis à u pied de la chambre, vue de fou du cottage et de la piscine Bref je recommande 30 min de Yogyakarta 1h des deux sites de temples principaux Attention le vendredi pour trouver un taxi :-)

Abbiamo scelto questo Resort perché situato circa a metà strada tra l’aeroporto e le principali attrazioni della zona: il centro di Yogyakarta (raggiungibile in 30-40 minuti di auto), Prambanan e Borobudur (entrambi a circa un’ora e mezza di auto). Il Resort sorge tuttavia al di fuori delle strade principali, in un’area completamente immersa nel verde. Il personale, formato da ragazzi giovani, parla inglese ed è molto disponibile ad accogliere le richieste degli ospiti. La camera era una piccola villetta indipendente (in totale ce ne sono una decina sparse lungo la proprietà), molto spaziosa ed elegante ma allo stesso tempo ‘naturale’ con molto legno), con letto a baldacchino. Nota per me meno lieta: il bagno all’esterno! Capisco che in Indonesia sia una sorta di tradizione, ma purtroppo nonostante il primo approccio sia ‘wow’, non si può alla fine non fare i conti con i problemi: primo, la scomodità di avere il bagno ‘fuori casa’; secondo, il fatto che in un ambiente immerso nella natura gli insetti inevitabilmente ci sono! Comodo il servizio di colazione, che viene concordata il giorno prima e poi portata direttamente in camera all’orario prescelto. Il Resort ha anche il suo ristorante, situato a circa 1 km ma raggiungibile con la navetta gratuita che viene messa a disposizione degli ospiti. Il Resort offre anche la navetta aeroportuale, anche se a un prezzo sopra la media. C’è infine anche una bella piscina di cui però non abbiamo usufruito.
