Panorama Hotel

It was cool and rainy in Västra Götaland most of the summer this year. The tans we started in June faded in July and August. It seldom got above 20 C. We longed for sun and hot sandy beaches. So we returned in late August to Karpathos and the Panorama Hotel, our second year in a row. The Panorama is family-run, with an unpretentious family feeling. Room 302 was clean and comfortable, with a sea-view from the balcony. Breakfast was simple and adequate, and included in the price. We were 300 meters from the beach, and a couple hundred from a well-stocked supermarket. It was a ten-minute walk from the centre of Pigadia. Best of all, we were able to book our holiday on short notice, and it fit our budget. We didn't pay for extras we wouldn't use, like a pool, and we got decent wifi. Nicholas and his team are super friendly and go the extra mile to help their guests. As I said in my review last year, you can pay more for four walls and a bed, or you can stay at the Panorama and have that with a little left in your pocketbook.
