Well, very good hotel , and very good clinic although there are some bad points but they are trying to prevent it and trying to make everything more better . In my first review i complained about the gloves , mask and hygiene, but they take it under consideration and the management took a serious action immediately. Food is good , nutrition ingret is very very good , the doctor Dr.lidslave is very good , the physio therapist is the best actually he treats my back . All the ppl are very very friendly . Yes its little far from the mineral water fall , but in general everything is good , rooms are specious, vie from the room is good , yes they have problem with English language, and after i complained about the sheets they change bed sheet everyday and they are doing there best. In my point of view its high end 4 star hotel , with a little twist the will reach the 5 star

Our family decided to add a last-minute visit to Karlovy Vary to our Christmas vacation and had a wonderful time at the Savoy Westend. The buffet was delicious, particularly the breakfast and fruits. The Christmas Dinner was reasonably priced for a resort and had a fantastic range of traditional dishes. Our room was spacious with high ceilings, huge windows and views, and a very nice bathroom. There was plenty of room for the second bed (twin) added to the room for our group of 3. The hotel is a short walk down the hill to the city center; absolutely worth the walk to see more of the architecture, visit the spring locations, and check out the shops. We had no language barrier issues in town or at the hotel. We booked directly through the hotel website and received a complimentary upgrade to a "Deluxe with Balcony" room with views of the Cathedral as well as parking and a spa treatment for each of us. Overall the property was a luxurious way to close out our vacation. Things to note: 1. They are currently accepting only cash or bank transfer from a Czech account. This is clearly stated on their website and at check-in, the nearest ATM is a 25 minute walk (round trip) and did not seem to have a withdrawal limit. 2. The hotel complex is several buildings. We stayed in the Kleopatra building which meant a short walk across the courtyard to breakfast and spas, or a slightly longer walk through the enclosed paths when the weather is poor. Changing in the pool/spa locker rooms felt better than making the walk in a robe. 3. During our stay they had maintenance issues on one of the primary elevators. The staff was very apologetic but they were unable to fix it on the 24th/25th (understandable). This meant there was not a direct access from the Spa back to our Room for part of our stay. I don't think this is worth reducing the rating, but could be a big frustration to some.

My experience at this hotel was bad. To start with: 1. Hotel credit card machine was not working. So everything had to be paid with cash. Who would expect to be walking around with 15,000 - 20,000 kronor in cash?? Going to city center and getting the cash cost us an extra $85 in transaction fees and poor conversion rates. 2. Being a small town and boutique hotel, very few people speak English. We made an appointment and went to the spa at the time. It was our first experience in a "salt cave". Nobody to tell us what to do. We lost about 10 minutes in this experience, but had to pay full price. Same thing with the mineral bath. Lost few minutes because there was nobody to guide us, but had to pay full price. Finally at check out time, we were told that their credit card system is not working for a month!!!. If that was the case, the hotel should have informed the guests in ADVANCE so that we would have made alternate arrangements. As for the hotel itself, it is a very nice property and enjoyable if the hotel can do a better job.

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel, which is really 4 villas inter joined. Room was spacious and elegant. Large pool, 2 saunas and pools. Room to sit outside in garden. Food was good. Really excellent breakfast buffet and dinner buffet was surprisingly good, though little expensive. Dining room self lacks charm. Very zealous staff who clear everything swiftly. Hotel was quite empty so plenty of room. If full may feel crowded. Parking is a bit expensive but little other choice nearby. Center is 10-15 min walk away. Felt nice to be able to leave the busyness behind, retreating up the hill to the hotel. A treat to stay here, feeling like a fairytale park in the hills.

Great experience, great food and service They had a good selection of procedures and helpful staff. The place was very pretty and the location was close to the center where you drink the mineral water
