Great for families with kids of all ages but especially primary school kids. Excellent games room and all facilities were clean and tidy and the grounds well maintained. Staff were friendly and approachable and incredibly helpful.

Such a great campsite. So close the a gorgeous little beach. Hours of fun for the kids. The area was great to explore too. Staff were very accommodating and the facilities really clean. Found a cute little coffee trailer just a few minutes away.

Having booked a studio cabin for 2 nights it wasn’t until we were handed the keys to the wrong unit that we realised Top Ten had changed our booking and not advised us in advance or at check in despite taking the payment for the unit days previously. We’d booked an elevated unit with sea view in a quieter more private location. We had stayed in this unit before and had chosen it specifically On check in we were handed the keys to a unit in the centre of the site with an outlook onto tarmac, buildings and the dump station. (See photos of the vistas from the decks of both preferred and alternate units attached) No advance notification of this change in booking had been forthcoming from Top Ten No reason has yet been provided as to why our booked and paid for unit had been given to other guests. When queried with the manager the response was derisory. You could and should have done so much better. We were advised that the change was an “upgrade” and that nothing else was available for the first of our 2 nights. On the 2nd night we were offered another sea view unit, however this would involve us moving and for an additional charge of $130. I will not be returning to this site, and this has been the only disappointing experience with our accommodation in this 6 week holiday to New Zealand, and was very much the low point in an otherwise fantastic visit to this part of the world.

A great place to visit or base from for a week. Will be back again. Love the area and makes for great exploring for either day trips or more traveling around the area. Friendly staff and nice facilities.

We went camping with family, the service and amenities were fantastic. Probably the only down is the pricing, as they didn't have an option for a non power campsite, so we ended up paying more and we didn't use the power in the site. Apart of that all the rest was amazing.

Best holiday park ever! Clean, comfortable, friendly, great facilities and the price is the best for what you get. The holiday park is super close to Maitai Bay, Rangiputa, Karikari Beach and Tokerau Beach so if you are looking for a change one day, you can drive no more than 10 minutes to another beautiful beach.

Such a beautiful place to stay beaches all around, one just across the road where you swim safely and also launch boat. Management and staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The place is very clean and tidy. Facilities like the kitchen and common areas were equipped with everything you needed bbqs gas stoves, place to clean your fish as well as to wash down you boat ample space for the kids to play. Couldn’t fault the place definitely would recommend and so will be returning.

A beautiful restful location right beside the beach. Clean and tidy with an exceptional kitchen. All facilities were of a high standard and well thought out. We would happily stay there again. An easy drive from Kaitaia.
