After several long days on safari, staying in tents (nice tents but nonetheless) this lodge was a very nice upgrade. Wish we could have stayed longer. The views are spectacular. The room was luxurious, for lack of a better word. The people were so attentive and friendly. Oh and they had AC! Food was wonderful. (The chef came to our table to see how he could improve our experience and took it very personal that we didn’t clean our plates) Our family has had a learning curve in the food department since we arrived in Africa. Ha. I would HIGHLY recommend this lodge. I feel lucky we came across it.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful with an incredible view. The location feels remote and peaceful. Watching the sunrise from our balcony was unparalleled. The staff are so very friendly and attend to your every need. We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary and the staff were so thoughtful singing to us after dinner and providing a special treat. I would come back here again and again!

We stayed at this hotel as part of a safari trip during our honeymoon. We were completely blown away by the hotel. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by staff to take our luggage, given a welcome drink, had women singing and dancing to welcome us on arrival and had a seat in the lounge for our check in. We were then taken to our room which was beautiful with the most gorgeous wraparound balcony with an amazing view over the surroundings. We were able to sit outside and watch the sunrise from our balcony. The hotel pool was exactly what we needed after a long day on safari. The food at the hotel was outstanding. We were treated to a four course dinner every night, and the quality was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the service we received from the staff at this hotel. Every staff member was friendly and courteous, and could not do enough to make our stay special. We were greeted with a flower display at dinner saying “enjoy your honeymoon” and were treated to a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate. At breakfast the hotel had set up a “just married” sign to greet us in the morning. We would like to particularly mention George Mark who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. The only thing to mention was that the drive up to the hotel is very rocky, but this is to be expected to get to a hotel in such a remote and beautiful location. We could not recommend this hotel enough. We will always remember our stay here!

Wellworth Lake Manyara Kilimamoja was gorgeous. The accommodations were lovely and the staff were so hospitable. It was the perfect lodge to come back to after a full day out at safari. I wanted to give a special mention to Daniel the host and Mose, the waiter. They could not be more professional and hospitable and gave such a nice, personal touch. Additionally, the chef was outstanding! Thank you!!! And of course main event of the trip, the safari, could not have been better without Denis, our driver guide. He made sure everything surpassed our expectations. This was an unforgettable trip. I HIGHLY recommend booking him for as your guide. You won't find a more knowledgeable driver. He will go the extra mile to ensure you have the most amazing trip.

Facilities & service are 1st class - nothing was too much trouble - told our agent 6 months ago we were celebrating special birthday & wedding anniversary & we were given a cake & procession /dance from the staff - unforgettable memories
