AVOID this hotel if possible
I had a terrible experience during the checkout process. I reserved three rooms for two nights, and the hotel charged a deposit of NT$30,000. It wasn’t until I returned to my home country that I realized the deposit had not been refunded. I sent multiple emails to the hotel, but received no response.
Fortunately, I was able to contact the hotel through the Trip.com app, which allowed me to call their local number. The front desk staff were polite, but unfortunately, they couldn’t resolve the issue as it was related to the finance department.
The hotel kept giving me vague and unreasonable explanations, claiming that because I used a non-local credit card, the refund would take 14 working days. This is, frankly, outrageous. Holding someone’s credit without clear consent or proper communication is unacceptable. Even worse, no one at the hotel could confirm the current status of my refund when I asked. Clearly a disappointment.
