We wished to switch from a king bed to two queens (same price). Was told none were available. But it appears there was NO ONE ELSE on our floor. We were given room next to the elevator and had to listen to it all night. The room key card was difficult to use. The check-in person told us the rooftop restaurant was closed when, after we got home, we found out it was open. Perhaps we were too old to be welcome? The desk lamp could not be used as it flashed on and off like it was shorting and might catch fire. The bathroom sink was slow. We decided to not stay our second reserved night. The lady at the checkout desk made it clear, since this was a pre-paid visit, we would not get any sort of refund. Then the ultimate insult. Upon getting home we get an advertisement showing we could schedule another stay at $190 less PER DAY! We will visit Kansas City again. But the Sheraton will never see us again.
