Citrus Classic Mcleodganj

Although I paid more than 100 US$, I could use hot shower only for 2 minutes. It was freezing. They didn't change bed sheet for 3 days. I spend 30 minutes to get a dryer from the front desk. There was oil film and dusts in the water of electric kettle. Room was dusty. I cannot recomend this hotel if you want to relax.

Pro: It is in the main market in Mcleodgunj. The food taste was good. Con: There is a long list of cons. Rooms were smelly and not up to the mark cleaned. Washrooms are very smelly, too. The menu for breakfast and dinner was almost the same and limited throughout 3 days. Due to the less hygienic environment, insects, cockroaches and mice were also seen in the rooms and restaurants. Staff was also limited and semi-skilled. The mattress provided was so hard that it was practically not possible to sleep on it. The double bed was a combination of single beds, and that's why there was a gap in between, making it difficult to sleep. Overall, if you have a very limited budget, visit this hotel only. Otherwise, there are many other options available in Mcloedgunj.

Had a great stay, staff was very courteous, food was great, location is amazing, and whatever services and amenities you need just ask Shantanu and he will sort you out. The transport facilities were very good, was able to visit all locations on my list and some extra.

Room clean and comfortable. However it was cold and efforts from me and staff failed to improve situation

I have a group of 16 rooms in citrus classic mcleodganj I have very good experience with hotel rooms very clean breakfast was very tasty and hygienic rooms are good and clean keep it up tanks to mr. Santanu for that experience thanks for all staff and your staff was very professional and really helpful 👍 😀

Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews for this hotel. They are fake. There is absolutely nothing positive to say about this hotel. Upon check-in the sheets on our bed were dirty and covered in hair. They were obviously not changed after the prior guest. The room was musty smelling and damp. I later realized that there is mildew and mold growing on the curtains, in the A/C unit and all over the bathroom. The clean towels were musty and damp. The entire hotel is dirty. The furniture, the restaurant, the common spaces. The plates, cups, silverware. The light switches, remote controls. Everything is dirty! Our room was not safe. It had a porch with sliding doors that do not lock. There is actually no lock mechanism installed in the porch door. (We made a staff member cut down a piece of wood to jam between the door frame and the sliding door. ) The shower is awful. Not enough hot water for one person to wash hair and shower at the same time. The breakfast is not good. Definitely not for Westerners and by looks on the faces of the Indian guests, most didn't like it either. And, finally the staff here lies. On our last day we found out that they gave us a smaller room than what we paid for. When we confronted them about it they said that they gave us a porch. (The porch with the door that doesn't lock and is easily accessible from the other rooms.) And, as I said, the reviews are fakes. They are using them to scam you into paying upfront and trapping you into staying here. This is the only way they can stay in business. Lastly, about the location. You can do better. It is too busy and noisy.

Good, clean place to stay. Ideal for a 1-3 day kind of stay. Good food. Specially loved Ravi and Pankaj service and the food at breakfast. The place is right in the main market besides the temple. Rooms are clean and service overall is very prompt. Place does not have alcohol though. But a nice roof top restaurant is there

Very courteous staff. Especially the restaurant team who took very good care of us during our stay. Kudos to Pankaj, Ravi and Shivani..would highly recommend this place for stay which is right in the middle of the main market…Looking forward to my next stay here.
