Kampot Diamond Hotel

Stayed here for two nights as part of a G Adventures tour which was during New Year's 2023 into 2024. Check in was quick and the lifts were okay too. Our twin room was an okay size - there was one queen size bed and a slightly smaller one. Also had a coffee table and chairs, small flat screen TV, desk and chair, plus space for hanging clothes by the door and a safe. Everything was clean and tidy and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was a good size, with a large shower cubicle. There was plenty of hot water and good pressure. The towels were fluffy too. The wifi was good with decent range and speed. Breakfast was downstairs and they cooked to order - see the photo. The omelette was good. Location-wise, there's a shop just across the road selling chilled water, soft drinks and beer. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the river. Overall, a good stay, with friendly staff with good English - recommended.

Staff is helpful and the rooftop pool is nice. Rooms and amenities are basic. The breakfast food is not great. Would not have been a hotel I would choose or recommend. but it has easy walking access to many shops and restaurants so location is ok
