The first room that we were assigned, on the second floor, was nice and appealing. However, it turned out this room was not pet-friendly and we had to move to the room on the second floor. It stunk like dog piss. We said that no way we are staying in that room, to which the manager responded "but it's a pet-friendly room"... Like sure, so are we paying $15 extra per night (the pet fee) to enjoy the smell? Now, that is a customer service. After I started to call the *********** support, they agreed to change the room for us. We were assigned a room in the building across the road. The only good thing about that room - it did not stink. Everything else was just awful: broken toilet flush, stained carpet and bed linen... And we still paid "pet fee" for that nightmare, even though our dog does not shed, has good manners and was way cleaner than the room. We were too tired to argue this time, but I can say for sure, this was our worst room in Canada so far.
